Jenny's house in Lidingö was truly wonderful! The home is warm, inviting, and beautifully decorated, reflecting the genuine charm of a family living there. The stunning views made our stay unforgettable, and waking up every morning to such a peaceful setting felt incredibly special. Jenny was thoughtful, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed to feel right at home. We appreciated all the personal touches and warmth throughout the house—it truly felt like staying with friends. We couldn't have asked for a better experience! This house has an amazing view that beats anything plus a great sauna (you pay an 500kr extra for each sauna occasion). Very clean and classic furniture. Kitchen super well equipped. Rooms feel large. Just a superb place if you are looking for privacy and stunning view. Will come again!

House is better than the photos show, spacious and stylish with forestry surrounds. The living / kitchen area is perfect for entertaining outside with the glorious heated pool and inside with the log burner.  Great location with nature walks around the nearby swimming lake ‘Glasbrukssjöns badplats’ with BBQ and picnic area. Also only 10 minute walk to bus stop, with a bus journey of 15 mins to get into the centre of Stockholm for city life and culture. The best of both worlds!  Supermarket is within walking distance with other amenities next to it. Helen answered all our questions quickly and thoroughly - even managed to have a neighbour come over help us within the hour. Fantastic host, we will defiantly be back!  BONUS are the Cat’s - SO friendly, we wanted to take Sessan home with us.

The space was homely and comfortable, with everything we needed and all mod cons (dishwasher, washer dryer, Xbox etc) which made our stay extra easy and comfortable. We felt right at home the minute we walked through the door. Bjorn was super helpful and responsive, giving us recommendations for where to visit and the best ways to get there. We loved every minute of our stay, the surroundings are stunning, the swimming beach is beautiful, the islands are magical. We can't wait to come back again!

Ett jättemysigt och fräscht boende. Vi skulle träffa kompisar som bor i samma område så vi tyckte det var toppen att ha nära "hem" . Lena var vänlig och lätt att kommunicera med. Vi bor gärna här fler gånger.

Had a lovely and most relaxing stay at this holiday home by the water. Everything worked great for us. Beautiful scenery, a neighboring park with lovely walks, fully equipped and sparkly clean stylish home, great kitchen to prepare meals, comfy bed, bus stop right by the house for easy commute to the city, and lovely lovely outdoors, including swims ten times a day... and special visitors to the backyard such as deer, ducks and squirrels as well as the neighbor's cat :) If you don't have a car, remember to bring groceries with you, otherwise it's a few minutes walk. Thank you for this memorable stay.

Our family had a wonderful time in Sweden. Herbert’s place made it for a very relaxing trip and all the descriptions were accurately mentioned. Very responsive and helpful instructions. Walkable to all accommodations and public transportation. Overall great stay and very clean.

Had a great time in Stockholm made all the better by having a lovely, warm, comfortable home to come to after long sightseeing days. Célestine’s warm welcome by meeting us at the Metro and walking us to the apartment was so appreciated. Always nice to meet one’s hosts especially when staying in their homes. Having space to unpack was an added bonus. Access to the Metro was easy. It was a treat to be able to use the small outdoor area on a sunny evening. We loved our stay and can highly recommend Celestine’s home.

Die Wohnung ist sehr stylisch und gemütlich. Die Lage und Anbindung nach Stockholm ist super. Eric und Johanna haben viele Informationen vorbereitet und viel weitergeholfen. Durch die Tipps hatten wir einen schönen Aufenthalt und gleich zur Ankunft eine schnelle Abkühlung im See nach einer längeren Fahrt mit den Kindern.

J’ai passé un agréable séjour à Stockholm. Tout était parfait ! Le logement est tout équipé, il se situe dans une résidence calme et est facilement accessible depuis le centre ville en transport en commun. I thoroughly enjoyed staying here. Peo and Birgitta are so friendly and welcoming. The flat is lovely, and has everything you need for a great stay. It is situated in beautiful surroundigs very near a lake. Also very easy to get into Stockholm. Highly recommend.

The place is beautiful . Extremely clean, comfortable and warm. The yard behind is lush green and we saw deer on both days! The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had all amenities possible . Highly recommend their space .

We had a great time on the island. For us, a small family with two children, the small house was the perfect compromise between being in the city, but also having the possibility to be in nature. Michael was very friendly and helpful. The fact that we could use the canoe, was a very nice extra. It gave us the possibility to do something active rather than just being in the city of Stockholm. The ferry to the mainland, which is included in the public transport, was also nice for us to take. We had a very nice stay. Thanks Michael!

We really enjoyed our stay at this quiet and peaceful place in the Tynningö. The best part by far was the view — wide open sea, fresh air, and large cruise ships slowly passing right in front of the house. It was like watching a moving postcard! One of the highlights was definitely the hot tub overlooking the sea. Sitting in the warm water while watching the sunset or seeing ships glide past was an unforgettable experience — calm, scenic, and perfect for unwinding. The house is simple and cozy, with all the essentials you need. The bathroom was a bit small, but manageable — and honestly, the view and outdoor experience more than made up for it. Highly recommended if you're looking to disconnect, recharge, and enjoy the best of the Swedish archipelago.

Wir haben zwei wundervolle Wochen in diesem traumhaften Haus verbracht. Alles war perfekt – das Haus ist sehr gepflegt, bestens ausgestattet und bietet einen herrlichen Blick aufs Wasser. Die Lage auf der ruhigen Insel ist idyllisch und dennoch ist Stockholm in nur ca. 40 Minuten erreichbar. Linda und ihr Mann waren großartige Gastgeber: herzlich, hilfsbereit und jederzeit erreichbar. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Wir können diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen.

We enjoyed an absolutely relaxing weekend at Olle’s beautiful hut at the lake. Our plan was to escape city life and enjoy nature, which we could do perfectly in the cozy hut. The access to the water and a sauna right next to it was all it took for us to feel like home and we enjoyed the time a lot and we felt like home. Perfect for reconnecting with nature, enjoy the beautiful garden and the amazing company of our two lovely hosts. Very easy going people and are down for a quick and interesting chat when you wish to. Very thoughtful and welcoming!

We loved our stay! The location is beautiful with nice walks nearby. The cottage is very well equipped. The sauna and wharf are picturesque. Ulla and Karl-Gustav are the most fantastic hosts. Very kind, responsive and available but also respect the space. We would love to come back!
