We had a fantastic stay in the cottage! It had everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. The location was also gorgeous - the listing doesn't show quite how beautiful it is. Our room had a view of the sea and we enjoyed eating our dinners and watching the sun go down from the front room after dinner. I would recommend Anne's place to anyone coming to Skye! The location was very convenient for the sites we wanted to see and we felt right at home. Anne and John were warm and welcoming hosts who have put a lot of love into their space. Thank you!

The accommodation, which is decorated as a separate building, is comfortable, quiet, and fully equipped, so I was satisfied for 4 days. In particular, the host was a kind person who gave strawberries harvested from the farm twice. If I ever come back to Sky Island, I'd love to come back again.

Lisa welcomed us with a delicious pot of soup, bread and a beautiful place to call home for a few days. Always responsive to messages and quick to make certain we were comfortable. It was a quiet location, which is EXACTLY what we were looking for.

The house was perfect - we were staying for a wedding so the ironing board was particularly helpful! The house was fully kitted out for home cooking and the bed was very comfy. beautiful views from the garden too! it was very nice being walkable distance from town as well

Fantastic place to stay, albeit only for a couple of days. Tiffany was very welcoming and friendly upon arrival. The location was only 10 minutes from Portree but it felt like I was very much out in the countryside with the sheep and lots of baby lambs. The accommodation was clean and had been stocked with everything I needed for my stay, even a few food and drink items were included. I was a solo traveller but I had plenty of space, a dining area, living area, two bedrooms, bathroom with shower and kitchen, even a sun deck outside. I would definitely stay again if ever back up in the Isle of Skye.

Stayed a few days at Lorraine’s lovely caravan. It is in a great location about 5 mins from the ferry and easy walking distance to town. It is spacious, very nicely presented .with everything you need. The weather was fabulous and there is a great view of the castle. We walked to Cafe Kisimul Indian and had a fantastic meal. Barra is a really special place. Lorraine was a very responsive host. Would heartily recommend

Carmen’s place is an old Blacksmith building - it has been beautifully renovated and tastefully (and comfortably) furnished. All details, including a very generous welcome package, have been thought of. Carmen & John were welcoming and friendly, and happy to share local knowledge of wildlife. We had amazing weather for our stay, but it would be a very cozy place to spend time even if the weather was bad. A fabulous place - highly recommended.

Alistair's place was absolutely beautiful. The location was perfect. We loved all the art work and the books, ah the books! The place was quirky which is exactly what we love. Alistair was a fantastic host and we look forward to coming back. Stunning place 🥰
