Waterfront vacation rentals in Mystic River

We will definitely stay here again. The apartment is pristine and decorated perfectly. We played records on the antique player and relaxed on the deck overlooking the Mystic River. Bed is very comfortable. Big roomy bathroom with a soaking bath. Fully equipped kitchen. Didn’t miss a TV. Assigned parking is a HUGE bonus. Aiden was great and polite and answered all of my questions promptly.

We loved the location overlooking the bay. Very beautiful mornings. Only a short car ride from Newport. Elaine was very helpful and offered early check in and late check out proactively - very nice of her.

We had such a fun and memorable stay at this unique home! The layout was so interesting ,with a spiral staircase leading up to the attic, where there were two cozy rooms and a small library that we absolutely loved exploring. It added such a charming touch to the whole experience. The house was incredibly spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room for everyone to relax. The views of the beach were absolutely beautiful …waking up to that was such a treat! The owner was lovely -very pleasant, helpful, and gave us some great recommendations on things to do in the area, which we really appreciated. Overall, it was a wonderful stay in a one-of-a-kind house, and we’d absolutely love to come back again!

We had a fabulous time!! Loved having coffee in the morning on the front porch and reading there in the afternoon. Location was EXCELLENT!!! We were a block away from the Seaport museum and easy walk to downtown. We walked to Li’s for yummy breakfast items and enjoyed the local eateries all within walking distance. Neighbors were friendly and felt very welcome. We had the windows open for a cool breeze and fresh air. It was so delightful. We ate out and did not cook …other than great coffees and teas but the kitchen was well stocked. Also appreciated the shampoo and soap. We will come back to this beautiful town. Thank you

Had a lovely stay at Jennifer’s apartment. Bed was comfortable, appreciative of the blackout shades, and the apartment was nice and cold when we arrived (it was 84 and humid 🥵). Pleasant stay overall, would stay again!

had everything we needed for a short weekend stay. queen bed mattress needs to be updated: very saggy and fitted sheet didn't stay in place. a bit disappointed by lakefront as front yard was over grown and was all fenced in, only access looked to be via owner's front dec.

Amazing space and location. Quiet, secluded and yet close to virtually all the local attractions. I was back to visit family and wish I had an extra week or two to stay. All superlatives for the rental and for the hosts. Thank you for your hospitality!

The place was perfect. Eli was super friendly and easy to coordinate with. Great views of the water and a solid home base if the weather isn't cooperating. Really enjoyed the weekend there.

Wonderful for a weekend with three young families. We enjoyed relaxing on the back deck with the unique view of the pond and passing trains, and walking downtown to the array of excellent food options. Comfortable beds, good shower pressure, plenty of towels, well stocked kitchen. The hosts made it easy to feel right at home

This is our second visit in the Recycle House. It’s such a lovely oasis. We love all the unique touches and creative uses of materials throughout the house. The location just steps from the charming town of Chester could not be better. The perfect CT weekend getaway!

Lynne's place is excellent. The house is vintage and not perfect, but it was exactly what we were looking for. There are lots of comfortable sleeping locations, several areas for people to spread out, multiple common areas for talking, 2 outside patio areas, and a fire pit with wood by the lake. The furniture is clean and comfortable throughout the house. Kitchen is fully stocked with plates, pans, accessories, etc. The outside grounds are beautiful and well kept. There are many natural borders to keep pets easily contained (no fence). Groceries and restaurants are about 10 minutes away, but when you are at Lynne's place, it is a very quiet area.

Can not recommend more! Beautiful house and perfect location! Would love to come back. Kids loved the beach and finding shells and little sea creatures in low tide!

Staying at Daniela’s place was great! Super easy to find and get into the peaceful house on the pond. Even though it was pet friendly, the house was spotless and had no wear or tear from previous visitors. It was great that they had child gates at stairs too! The dog loved going out in the canoe and swimming in the pond! Great place overall!

Beautiful stay in Groton! Well appointed house, lots of room for all, and gorgeous views on the waterfront. Great location and close proximity to Esker Beach & Restaurant, 10 minute drive to Mystic which was great for our 3 families over MDW

Everything about Tonya’s place was as advertised! The home was cozy, clean and in a beautiful setting. The kitchen was completely stocked with every pot, pan and knife you could possibly need. The lake was beautiful and the people we saw while utilizing the available kayaks were very friendly. We loved the decor or every room and would completely stay there again!!

Joan has a beautiful home and made for sucg a relaxing girls retreat. The location was great nothing was more then 20 minute drive to local shops or casino and beaches. Home is beautiful and comfortable and we all loved a morning coffee in the sun room.

We had a great stay at Julie’s place. There was a slight hiccup with check-in times but Julie was very communicative and sorted it out promptly. The place itself was great, beautiful waterfront views and a private beach. The weather wasn’t the best but we still made the most of it. The apartment was compact but big enough for 4 adults.

My husband and I had a great stay at Doug’s condo! The unit is in a great location with beautiful views. Parking was super convenient and Doug makes check in a breeze. We enjoyed staying bay side and visited the restaurants nearby which are walking distance! We would definitely return and stay here again.

The stay was very peaceful, friendly neighbors. The scenery was great, Desiree was there for any concerns we had, and with timely response. I would anyone that want a pleasurable stay while in Norwich, this is the place to be. Thanks again, for a wonderful stay. William & Potreen

Place was lovely and beautiful! Place looked like photos and was spotlessly clean! Mia was extremely helpful and responded quickly!

We really enjoyed staying at Lynn’s place! Very clean and had a great view of the ocean from the deck. Lynn was very responsive and made the experience seamless. We would definitely stay with Lynn again.

Taylor’s place was a last minute booking to spend one last day with my son before his Navy submarine left to Hawaii for two years. The place was clean and the decor inviting. I knew it was a studio but it was large enough. The balcony was a nice extension of the space. I wish the bathroom had been larger and more modern but overall the space and its location was quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed the pools and the proximity of Mohegan sun was a pleasure.

Thank you for the stay. Price, location, communication and apartment were all top notch. We had a great week, definitely recommend, hope to be back.
