Vacation rentals in Myli

We loved staying at Mansio in Rethymno. It was right in old town just steps from restaurants but on a quiet street. We had a rental car and they offered free parking in a local lot a short walk away. Check in was easy. There was a staffed desk so someone available to answer all questions and they were extremely friendly. The breakfast was wonderful and the seating area to eat was beautiful. The back of the building was a park always full of families and a school. We loved watching local families enjoy their town. We even got to see a concert event with area children singing. There is some noise from the park, but it did not bother us. If you are looking for absolute quiet you should look towards the edge of town instead.

I can’t recommend the apartment enough. It was the best equipped rental I have ever stayed in and the location is beyond fabulous. A few steps down to the beach, the views from the terrace, 2 mins away from a handful of great restaurants, a cafe right next door and 15 mins walk into the main town. It has everything for a relaxed stay but everything on your doorstep when you want it. The house is as the photos depict - stylish and luxurious. A stay here will not disappoint! Loved every moment of it and wonderful hosts.

Book this! Amalen Suites (only 5 for the entire property) is in the perfect spot! Close to everything but at night quiet and extremely secure! My favorite part of my stay was the staff that ran Amalen! Thank you so much Maria, Jakob, Tolis, and Josie!!! Everyone was so so so kind and gave amazing recommendations for my stay. The breakfast served every morning was phenomenal as well!!! Oh and! My all time favorite products are used at this location (Olive Era) so I was able to buy some bottles to take home too. And because I was traveling alone they checked in with me everyday and made sure I was safe during my stay which means a lot! I truly had an amazing time at this hotel and highly highly HIGHLY RECOMMEND for couples that are traveling through Crete. The city in which Amalen is located is large and can be tough to find parking all of the time so I also did love that this was close to many restaurants, shops, IG worthy cute alleys and a 2 minute walk to the ocean. Fantastic stay, right on the beach! Photos very similar to reality, with all the amenities available! It is on the promenade, very close to several restaurants, a supermarket and the historic center, you can do everything on foot, within walking distance. Fotis was super helpful and gave very clear instructions. We wanted to stay longer!!! 5*

The apartment is very nice. Nice beds, beautiful location and nice swimming pool. The room was very beautiful and spacious. Bathroom a little smaller but that didn't bother us at all. It's very nice that you're not directly on the road, you really have a small oasis. It was a bit difficult to find the reception and parking lot. After Maria's instructions, that was immediately clear. But we did drive around a bit in the beginning. In addition, the water went out twice during the stay (this was always resolved almost immediately, so we had no problems). The balcony is completely in the sun in the morning, so this can be warm. Everything is within walking distance, so the location is great. Within 30 minutes walk you are in the old center. But within a 2-minute walk, you already have a supermarket and plenty of tavernas. So really a top location, nice room and also very nice contact with Maria!

Our stay at this house was absolutely amazing! The home is spacious, beautifully designed, and fully equipped for a relaxing and comfortable holiday. The outdoor area was a real highlight – perfect for morning coffee, sunbathing, or enjoying a peaceful evening under the stars. Everything was spotless and well-maintained. The atmosphere of the house made us feel immediately at home. Stavros was a wonderful host. He welcomed us personally with a short tour of the house during check-in and gave us many helpful local tips. On top of that, he generously provided us with fresh fruit and other essentials, which was such a thoughtful touch.

Absolutely stunning Airbnb - the views are as pictured. Loved waking up to the sea. The rooms were cleaned and beautifully maintained by the cleaning lady. We were just two in this two bedroom so we had space to spread out but it could easily accommodate four. Loved having breakfast on the balcony with the view of the village and the ocean.
