Vacation rentals with lake access in Munster

Can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed this stay. Karen was so kind and the space was beautiful- perfect for our family trip, within 12 min of downtown, lots of yummy restaurants in the area. This stay is definitely a highlight of our trip.

Noreen was the perfect host. The accommodations were clean, comfortable and spacious. The location was spectacular, a peaceful countryside setting with outstanding views. Having a red fox travel through in the evenings was an added bonus. Noreen gave attention to detail in decor and amenities. She welcomed us warmly and offered helpful suggestions and recommendations, sharing local history. She was absolutely delightful! We had a lovely stay! We found it to be a great launching point for side trips to Ennis, the Burrens, Bunratty Castle, the Aran Islands, the Loophead Loop and the Shannon Airport. I highly recommend her place!

It’s a wonderful place to visit and enjoy. The house is spacious and perfectly suited for families and groups of friends. I highly recommend a visit!

When every single review is 5 stars then there are high expectations & every one of those were exceeded! A beautiful, spacious, clutter free, airy, bright house with a lovely patio area and gardens. Everything that is needed is in the house! Lough Hyne, Skibereen and Baltimore are all nearby. James was fabulous, he facilitated all of our requests and was a pleasure to deal with! Even though we were unlucky with the weather, the house made the trip very special nonetheless!

We booked this magnificent home for a portion of our family to attend a vow renewal in the area, and it was everything that we hoped for. With four bedrooms, two living rooms, a huge kitchen and eating space, and gorgeous grounds - the entire group was able to stay comfortably, and enjoy cooking and sharing meals together, without being on top of each other. The furnishings are also very well done. Anne and Maree were extremely helpful, and always available to answer questions. I can highly recommend this listing to others.

Connie's wee cottage is perfect. We deliberately chose this to give us flexibility to explore the BURREN, and Connie gave us many special places to visit. And they were ! You do your homework, but nothing like a "Local" If we ever get the chance, we will come back. Thanks Connie Love from Stew & Di

Ciara and Aidan were fantastic hosts, the space was cozy without being too cluttered or small. And the views, oh my word, the views!!! Their property is stunning! I honestly can't say enough good things about this place.

Had a great stay at the lakehouse, its a beautiful location and very remote, so extremely peaceful. We were lucky with the weather and had a perfectly calm lake and magnificant sunsets most evenings. The house has amazing lake views and you could spend hours relaxing in the living room enjoying the serenity. We liked having access to the private pier, to do some fishing didn't require a boat, and pike and perch were caught every day. Having a great supply of coffee pods and a machine was great and appreciated. A very special house that I hope to return to again some day. Madeline was a great host and made us feel very welcome. The apartment is in a spacious, beautiful, peaceful rural setting including a herb and lettuce garden that we were free to use (spring-summer has its advantages!). Pristine apartment (warm and comfortable with good kitchen and bathroom facilities); great location for exploring the south-west peninsulars of Mizen, Sheep's Head and Beara. Walkable local village. Friendly, responsive host who lives on site. A perfect AirBnB stay. Thank you Stefan.

a lovely apartment with everything you might need. Slept very well with the firm matress and quality bedlinen. Good shower pressure and lots of towels in bathroom. The pizza downstairs in the bar was so good that we had it 2 nights in a row. Really friendly and helpful staff in the bar who gave us plenty of recommendations for the area. The pub was full each night but we didn't have any issues with sound or noise from below. Highly recommend staying here.

We had a fantastic long weekend in Caroline's place, everything was as described, beautiful house and garden, very cosy and comfortable beds. Great location for exploring West Cork in a very quiet location.

Beautiful private home with modern amenities. Amazing location (close to Doonbeg golf) and the views and sunset were spectacular.

Abolutely fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Right on the water. Very peaceful yet a great pub at 2 minutes walk. 3 very comfortable bedrooms. Great kitchen and living room. Beautiful (really!) surroundings. The whole place oozes charm. We will be back!

I have stayed in this cottage quite a few times over the years - and I always enjoy it immensely. The cottage is lovely, decorated in a style that suits its age, and set in the most stunning scenery. It feels as though you're in the middle of nowhere - it is so quiet the deer come right up to the patch of grass in front of the house in the evenings and there are so many different birds it's almost like an orchestra - but you're definitely not: There are two good restaurants in the area, a nice pub near a harbour, a lunchroom in gorgeous gardens and a very well stocked shop-and-tearoom only a 20 minute drive away. So yes, I will come again!

It has been a wonderful stay. Clean,beautiful view,loads of privacy and two great welcoming dogs. Gerry gave us a warm welcome and explained everything. Really took the time. I recommand this air bnb. Everything is there. Close to Corofin where there’s a shop and a fantastic place to drink coffee and are having the best cinnamon buns I’ve ever tasted. Close to the Burren information centre. Close to Ennistymon etc. And after being around all day and coming back to farm there was calmness and peace.

Pat and Mary Angela are marvellous hosts. When we arrived the fires were lit, the table was set and there were gorgeous scones made by Mary Angela. They are both so friendly and gave lots of recommendations of places to visit. Their lovely cottage is perfectly situated for exploring Galway. It is definitely a home from home. My husband and I along with our 3 adult children and 2 Jack Russells had a great time there and we had everything we needed. We also loved Pat and Mary Angela's cafe and bookshop in Oughterard Village. Well worth a visit. Couldn't recommend this cottage highly enough!

This was a great place to stay to access Killarney National Park. We were on foot so it was about a mile and half to town, a bit less to a small grocery. The place was lovely and we enjoyed it. Very nicely appointed.

As the pictures tell, this is a charming cottage in the country. Loved to visit with the cows behind us! We all agreed it felt like our grandmothers home, comfortable and welcoming. Not too far away from civilization Irish style. The sun room on a blustery rainy day was awesome. We were very happy and felt very safe! Emily was lovely! Very thankful we chose this cottage.
