Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Mücke

This is an adorable cottage managed by lovely people. Thanks to Stephen, his partner, and his mother for their gracious hospitality! I am very grateful. This is a historic half-timber home with wood floors and stairs, high upstairs ceilings, and an updated interior. We found the bedding comfortable with bedroom blinds adjustable for sleep promotion, kitchen and bathrooms clean and stocked, patio delightful with sun and bird songs, and overall decor attractive and soothing. The air temperature is adjustable in the bedrooms and living room with both cooling and heating options. The coffee maker is a Nespresso type, and we appreciated the basketful of coffee pods and bottle of wine upon entry! This home is in a peaceful and safe location behind a locked gate with both the owner and the owner's mother to each side. The S-Bahn stop is a short walk away and will take you to central Frankfurt including Romer (download the RMVgo app to buy and load train tickets).

Such a lovely cabin in a picturesque setting! We felt right at home There is everything you need for a quiet break. Heckmühle is a very sweet village with great people. We will be happy to come back.

The old half-timbered house is modernly renovated and furnished inside. Just like the pictures. Beautiful sauna. Everything nice and clean, very comfortable beds. We liked the possibility of having a large table for all 10 people in both the dining room and the outdoor area. Really great!!! And the nice "little things" almost "big things" that are available at the reception should not be, but that makes you feel warmly welcome. I can fully recommend the house.

We experienced a warm and sociable family reunion at Easter 2025 in the house. The space was great! There was nothing missing! The whole house is perfectly clean, superbly equipped and full of feel-good elements: the fireplace, the generous seating, the tasteful furnishings… and the fantastic surroundings! Everything wonderfully inspiring! :) We leave the place with beautiful memories and can only warmly recommend the house!

Gabriele is very welcoming and helpful. The house is more beautiful than the pictures, very clean, and has everything one needs for the stay—she has thought of more than most hosts to make available for a worry free stay. It’s a beautiful setting and we look forward to returning.

The stay and accommodation not only met, but exceeded our expectations. We were 9 people and there was not the slightest hint of criticism. The place was very clean, the amenities exceptionally good, better than you can expect. The beds were already made, the towels fresh and a few treats were ready for our dog. Table tennis was played intensively because good rackets and enough balls were available and the kicker was also used, so that activities were also possible for the children. Communication with Undine was very good, check-in flexible. And our request for an additional parasol due to the heat was met by Undine very quickly. All in all, a perfect stay in a great environment. The Sauerland surprised us positively, although we should have known better. Thank you for the wonderful time!

This apartment leaves nothing to be desired. We immediately felt welcome and very comfortable. Günter was very friendly and accommodating. In the apartment, several welcome drinks as well as coffee and tea awaited us. The apartment was totally clean and equipped with new furniture. In the kitchen, there are spices, sugar, oil, baking paper and cleaning products. The balcony is a dream! The beds and pillows are also new and very comfortable. We particularly liked that there are shutters in the bedrooms and fly screens on almost all windows. We highly recommend this apartment.

Was a great place to stay for hiking in the area. In a few minutes, you are at the outdoor pool and it was also not far to the pizzeria. The place had everything you need and left nothing to be desired.

It was just perfect and Barbara furnished everything with so much love for detail. We loved ending the evening in the beautiful garden and enjoyed the atmosphere. This short stay will remain in our memory forever. Thanks Barbara

Were there with a group of 5 friends and had a wonderful time. A well-equipped kitchen invites you to cook, after which you can end the day comfortably in front of the large oven. From the house, you can go directly into the forest. Everything clean, communication easy.

We had a great time in the vacation homes. Due to the good and fast communication with the hosts, questions were clarified very quickly. The apartments are lovingly furnished, very clean and cozy. I'd come back anytime :)

We had a great weekend at the place. The kitchen is well equipped. We grilled and were able to use the beautiful terrace. Ideal location for surrounding activities such as canoeing.

The house was very clean and everything was also available. The beautiful city center was within walking distance as well as several supermarkets. Torsten's mother takes care of the check-in (if you stand in front of the house, the mother lives to the left). Very friendly and accommodating and if any questions should arise, you could easily contact them.

We really enjoyed our stay at Alexandra and Pit's beautiful home. The house is stylishly furnished and has all the comforts. The beds are lovely and linen and towels are of excellent quality. The kitchen is the heart of the house and we have served for hours with a view of a cozy crackling fireplace. The view of the hills and woods is beautiful and soothing. It really is a place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and to relax. Alexandra and Pit are the perfect hostess and hostess. They are very friendly, happy to help you if you need anything and at the same time respect your privacy. In short: we warmly recommend this stay.
