Sarah's place is very nice, well located, 5 min away on foot from the beach. Close to shops, with a very well equipped kitchen. The rooms have AC, but in the living room there's only a ventilator, so it can get quite hot. Otherwise I would really recommend it.

Priscilla was an amazing host! From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth and well-prepared. The place was spotless, beautifully set up, and had such a welcoming vibe. She was super responsive and made sure we felt right at home. We really enjoyed our weekend and would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable spot. From the second I arrived, it was clear this wasn't just another booking; it was a perfect slice of holiday heaven. Being literally a 4-5 minute walk to Nyali Beach was a dream come true for a beach lover like me – I could practically roll out of bed and into the ocean! And for convenience, the fact that Naivas shopping center is within easy walking distance was a game-changer. I strolled over multiple times, even as late as 10 PM, feeling completely at ease. The neighborhood itself felt incredibly safe, with that reassuring stretch of hotels and their security guards, which was a huge comfort for a first-timer to the Coast. We had a wonderful 4 nights stay with family of 5. The owner responded quickly, send us very detailed information of all you need to know and arranged pick up at Mombasa airport. The staff is very friendly, helpful and at the same time gives you privacy. Reuben the chef provided us splendid meals, we especially enjoyed all the fresh seafood!Recommended is to do shopping before arrival because bigger supermarkets are 40 minutes drive away. Fruits, vegetables, water, fish, soda’s are easy to get in the village but for more luxurious groceries you have to go to the bigger supermarkets. You can book the pick up from the airport with a shopping stop in Nyali. Neen Tree is a lovely family house with marvellous view and direct access to the ocean. A friendly monkey family lives on the property and are fun to watch. Besides the pool we loved going snorkelling on the rif using the equipment from the house. For transport we used Tsuma with a comfortable 7 seater which we used for a Kilifi trip.

Chris is a gentleman who has helped me with helpful information every time I've approached him. The house was handed over to me and kept clean every day by his assistant, Clara, a polite woman. His location in Nyali is excellent, near supermarkets, churches, downtown, etc. The compound is calm, we can hear the birds singing, and fresh air is circulating in every house room. Also important is a 24-hour security guard in the compound on 7/7. I will stay at Chris' house again next time I visit Mombasa.

The pool is another standout feature—crystal clean and perfect for a refreshing dip after a round of golf or a day of exploring. I thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful and laid-back atmosphere during my stay. There is a gym located within the premises, and the instructors were incredibly friendly. Additionally, it's a short and easy walk to the beach. Highly recommended!

Arabian Nights...with 5G Internet! This was a fabulous stay. Perhaps the best stay of all my time Airb'nB. It had been a while since I had last visited Mombasa, and I only had a few days, after a business event in Nairobi; so I wanted my stay to be efficient, calm and memorable. Mohamed was a wonderful and caring host, who pretty much anticipated my every need. The apartment, on the top floor of a traditional Swahili family house, was wonderful: beautifully decorated and furnished in Omani-Mombasa style; featuring a magnificent four-poster bed, arabesque chill zone, clean bathroom and little kitchenette. The let is above a well-known backpackers hostel in Mombasa Old Town, with a decent cafe on the ground-floor, within close walking distance of historic Fort Jesus (well-worth a visit) and a decent selection of stores selling tourist tat of varying quality. But Mohamed and his cohort of fellow-fishermen are a welcoming and class act. And this was--undoubtedly--a class stay. Kurudi!

We loved staying at Wangari's, the house and neighbourhood more than exceeded our expectations. The area is peaceful and easily accessible from the road and other amenities. Would 100% recommend.
