Great host and location!

Sarah's place is very nice, well located, 5 min away on foot from the beach. Close to shops, with a very well equipped kitchen. The rooms have AC, but in the living room there's only a ventilator, so it can get quite hot. Otherwise I would really recommend it.

I had a wonderful stay at Sarah’s place! The home was spotless and just as described. Sarah was incredibly attentive and responsive—she always replied quickly and was very helpful throughout my stay. Very pleasant stay. Loved the well stocked kitchen, the coffee maker is an added bonus as I love my coffee. Place is a little out of the way, not necessarily a bad thing but i found that uber drivers were reluctant or made a fuss about having to drive there. Otherwise its great value for money, swimming pool is also clean and pleasant to use.

Fiona is a lovely lady. The instructions for finding the place and checking in are very clear and helpful. Nyali has many beautiful places to eat breakfast, lunch, dinner, and clubbing. Her property is lovely and very well looked after. I would recommend that people who want to visit Mombasa choose Fiona's place.

From the second I arrived, it was clear this wasn't just another booking; it was a perfect slice of holiday heaven. Being literally a 4-5 minute walk to Nyali Beach was a dream come true for a beach lover like me – I could practically roll out of bed and into the ocean! And for convenience, the fact that Naivas shopping center is within easy walking distance was a game-changer. I strolled over multiple times, even as late as 10 PM, feeling completely at ease. The neighborhood itself felt incredibly safe, with that reassuring stretch of hotels and their security guards, which was a huge comfort for a first-timer to the Coast. We had a wonderful 4 nights stay with family of 5. The owner responded quickly, send us very detailed information of all you need to know and arranged pick up at Mombasa airport. The staff is very friendly, helpful and at the same time gives you privacy. Reuben the chef provided us splendid meals, we especially enjoyed all the fresh seafood!Recommended is to do shopping before arrival because bigger supermarkets are 40 minutes drive away. Fruits, vegetables, water, fish, soda’s are easy to get in the village but for more luxurious groceries you have to go to the bigger supermarkets. You can book the pick up from the airport with a shopping stop in Nyali. Neen Tree is a lovely family house with marvellous view and direct access to the ocean. A friendly monkey family lives on the property and are fun to watch. Besides the pool we loved going snorkelling on the rif using the equipment from the house. For transport we used Tsuma with a comfortable 7 seater which we used for a Kilifi trip.

This was my second time staying at Toby’s House, and once again, it exceeded our expectations! The house is incredibly spacious, providing plenty of room to relax and unwind. Everything is well-maintained, from the beautifully furnished interiors to the pristine outdoor spaces. Amazing friendly staff. The highlight, of course, is its unbeatable location—right on the golf fairway, offering stunning views and a serene atmosphere. The pool is another standout feature—crystal clean and perfect for a refreshing dip after a round of golf or a day of exploring. My stay at Wanjiku's place was absolutely wonderful. From the moment I arrived, she was incredibly warm, hospitable, and accommodating. My stay at the Swahili house in Old Town Mombasa was unforgettable. The property is beautifully decorated and the terrace is lovely to spend time on. The location was great with wonderful views of the harbor. We could even watch monkeys playing in the nearby trees right from the main living space! Mohamed was incredibly welcoming and has a dhow boat that you can take tours of the harbor on. Additionally, the house is near a hostel with excellent food, and there are numerous shops and cafes within walking distance. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable stay in Mombasa and hope to be back soon myself!

We loved staying at Wangari's, the house and neighbourhood more than exceeded our expectations. The area is peaceful and easily accessible from the road and other amenities. Would 100% recommend.

Another amazing stay at Aqua Apartments in Mombasa! I stayed from June 3 to June 6, and as always, everything was perfect. The location is great, close to everything I need, with a beautiful ocean view that never gets old. I’ve been here multiple times — this has become my go-to spot whenever I’m in Mombasa. Willis is an excellent host — always responsive, professional, and makes sure everything is in order for a smooth and comfortable stay. Highly recommended!
