Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Mount Macedon

We loved our stay at the barn , this is such a cosy space. Perfect in winter by the fireplace. We loved all the art decor and musical instruments in the barn, such an inviting place. We really enjoyed the chilled out nights by the fire playing board games. Sarah was great with communications and check in instructions. We would Definately stay again

A beautiful autumn long weekend at Andrew’s farm. Our toddler loved riding his bike along the dirt roads through the paddocks to visit the baby lambs. The house was very cosy with great light and a warm fire.

This is a fantastic place! A stunning heritage building with the interiors to match. The place is beautifully decorated, warm and cosy. The house is on the main street so only a 2-minute walk to the cute shops and great pub and brewery. This really is a bit of a hidden gem! Highly recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful 2 nights at Harry’s cottage. From super friendly host, clear instructions and spotless accommodation it was all so easy! The property is a dream for a cosy weekend away. The spa and woodfire were our highlights and made it perfect for some R&R together just enjoying the accommodation and peacefulness. (Of course, we did also venture out into Daylesford which was so close!) We would love to return again, as this cottage has everything we wished for. Thank you Harry!

This accomdation is magical and peaceful and well worth going too. From the moment you go through the door ambient music and freshly made bread and some bubbly await you! Beautifully designed with every space feeling calm, homely and luxurious. The natural light is superb both upstairs and downstairs. The downstairs bed was incredibly comfortable - we did not try the one upstairs, but we loved the room and the space. The writers nook was absolutely gorgeous - it really inspired me, I loved it. Fiona and Dave have thought of everything for a unique stay where vintage and modern design are woven together to create a home filled with art and beautiful pieces everywhere. Close to south Melbourne market for shopping, and an ideal location for coffee and patisseries. I look forward to our next stay. Thank you!

Had a lovely week at Gangas place. Was quiet, peaceful and extremely comfortable. Generously furnished for extreme coziness with a well equipped kitchen to cook for yourself. Located on a beautiful quiet road with the general store a short stroll away made for a great experience and reset from city life. Would highly recommend.

The perfect place for a peaceful and restful getaway. Inside was beautifully furnished and very clean. We especially enjoyed the fireplace and the bathtub! There even were bath salts provided! Geoff was very communicative and accommodating - gave great recommendations too. Definitely will be coming back to stay here in the future!

Michelle's place is in a fantastic location, convenient to everything you'd want to do in the city. The apartment is clean, with everything we needed for our weekend getaway. Michelle is a super responsive host and we can't thank her enough for organising an early check in.

Catherine was very helpful and easy to communicate with throughout the booking, check in and check out process. The place was amazing and in such a great location in St Kilda. The added touch of putting the fire on for us on arrival, on a cold evening, was very thoughtful. We had a great time in St Kilda and Melbourne, using Catherine's place as a hub made it all the more special. I cannot forget to mention the great recommendations for cafes, bars and restaurants locally that are now on our 'must go back to' list.

Lovely studio, beautifully appointed with a European feel right in the heart of Armadale. Very clean, quiet and comfortable, with good airconditioning and a cosy log fire which was really easy to operate. The fresh baguette and french butter were very welcome. Jim was a terrific host, very responsive and considerate.

Veronika was really nice and welcoming. We really enjoyed the property and totally worth it. breakfast was a bonus.

Can't express enough my gratitude how amazing it was to stay in Baleno and It was just what we needed! Can't thank enough Dayget for there hospitality and just being there when need! Don't want to ramble on too much but just can't say enough good things about this place. It was worth driving over from South Australia for my 25th with my partner! Can't wait to come back again!

Best place we’ve ever stayed at. Private location but short distance drive to living essentials. My partner and I had a great time there for our getaway, had the chance to fully utilize amenities e.g. spa, pool table, etc. Most importantly, Steve is responsive and friendly and genuinely cares about making sure his guests have a good time. He made sure everything was prepared with clear instructions. Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved our spa weekend stay, so many thoughtful touches, from the quality bed linen and towels, gorgeous toiletries, great record collection, book of well thought out information about the area, places to eat, visit etc. there was even bird food for the native birds which you could hear and see from the well set up outdoor area. It truly felt like you were at home, they really have thought of everything to help their guests enjoy their stay, we will definitely return 😊 too many personal touches to mention but we fully recommend this lovely home.

Beautifully appointed and thoughtfully decorated little spot in a fantastic location! It’s small, but much larger than the pictures suggest - never cramped, just cozy. The kitchen is more than appropriate for cooking, and the entertainment system is fantastic with solid speakers that are always appreciated. It’s incredibly close to the main Sassafras strip, which does lead to a small amount of traffic noise especially if you’re sitting outside, but the road is very quiet at night and the doors and windows isolate well so it never bothered us. Being able to walk to dinner and not have to drive home is well worth the trade off in my eyes! My partner and I also greatly appreciated the spa bathtub, and the fact that you can watch a movie while in it thanks to the thoughtfully planned layout. All in all, a great little spot that I would gladly return to.

Spent 2 nights La Boheme. We really enjoyed our stay here. The place is in the middle of nature with plenty of wildlife. The highlight was definitely the regular kangaroos bouncy past the house. The location is perfect with plenty to do and plenty to see.
