Newly built apartment building with the absolute best location on the longest lake bath in the Nordic countries and one of Sweden's finest beaches. With promenades, cafes and restaurants, it's a place that has something for everyone. The shallow, clean water is sheltered in a bay perfect for surfing and kayaking. Close to padel courts, tennis courts, miniature golf. No pets are allowed. Sheets/towels are included, but can be rented for 100 SEK/person. Events/parties are not allowed. Water pipes/smoking not allowed!

On the historic mill, right between the Göta Canal and Motala stream, you find this newly renovated and fully equipped gem. The guest apartment is spacious and bright with two bedrooms and large living room with sofa bed. The bedrooms each have a workspace. A couple of minutes walk from the port, train station and city center in one way and the cultural area of Old Motala workshop with the event venue Lokverkstan in the other direction. Linen and towels are not included, but can be rented for SEK 100/set.

In our beautiful beach house you live so close to the lake that you can hear the sound of the waves. The house is 70 m from the beach which is the longest "lake beach" in Scandinavia. In the summertime there are 4 restaurants close by.(2 in the wintertime) Perfect for catching some sun, relaxing, vindsurfing, kitesurfing, nice walks in the beautiful surrounding area, tennis, paddle, minigolf or chilling and barbecuing on the patio. Code to the key box will be sent to you the day before arrival.

We really enjoyed the communication with the hosts, for the house, for the facilities, for Tived National Park, for the instruction book in the house and for the entire stay. It can easily be we'll be back. We had a little trouble with our car and some neighbors were also very helpful. It was just really good everything.

Close proximity to the beach and the lake-view stands above all other things I can think of when describing Maria’s house. Maria was quick in responding to messages. We did know there was only one bathroom and toilet before booking it for us 5 adults and 2 kids. But now it feels like for a house this large which can accommodate 10 guests, an extra bathroom toilet would be great :)

Our visit as a resident in the Pavilion. We were adults and children who stayed there to-sun. Large areas both inside and outside, clean and tidy, own large patio with large lawn for play. Sauna and wood fired sauna for about 4 people. Good parking next door, walking distance to fishing area and also to the bath with small beach, jetty and diving tower. Good communication with Johan before and upon arrival as well as was quickly available if we were missing anything during the stay. Cozy environment. We are 20 very happy guests who will surely come back. Top marks from us

The stay was cozy and the area very quiet. Perfect for cycling and walking. The host was very nice and had arranged a small welcome package so you really felt welcome. Everything was clean and nice and there were clear instructions/aids in each room. Extra good for the Vättern round as there was a storage room where you could store the bikes. Will definitely book this place again!

Helen and her husband welcomed us even though we arrived late. Did not have time to enjoy, quickly to bed and off to Motala for the Vättern round. A nicely decorated accommodation with all the amenities. Great!

If you're going to Vadstena, choose Jenny as your host. Very thoughtful and helpful. Sjögården is fantastic. A perfect location inside the city and close to everything you want to explore in Vadstena.

We stayed with Mats for a few days and felt very comfortable. The place was as described and we had a very nice time. The house is secluded enough to have its peace but close enough to civilization to do a little sightseeing. We can also imagine a longer stay here. Only the steep stairs to the upper bedrooms are not compatible with our Labrador in the long run

We had a lovely stay during our trip for Vätternrundan! Sten is a great host who was helpful and very friendly. Beachvillan is located on a gorgeous beach with a peaceful view of the lake. Due to our focus on the bike event we did not try the activities at the house, however there were lots of choices too! 6 adults would have been too much for us but we could make it work for 4 (tall) adults. We are really glad we stayed here 😊

We have been to Scandinavia many times and have actually always rented a house. However, Helene's Seestuga has surpassed all previous properties. The location is sensational and unique without exaggeration, you live right on the lake with your own jetty and your own seating area. The view of Lake Vättern is incredible. The Seestuga itself is lovingly furnished and has everything you need in everyday life. The tranquility and the spacious and well-kept garden immediately create a holiday atmosphere. Helene and her husband are also very lovely hosts, they take care of their guests immediately if they have any questions, without ever imposing themselves. If I had any questions, I received an answer within minutes, and I also received great tips for staying in the area during random meetings in the garden. Both are the perfect hosts and really strive to make your stay in Sweden a great experience.
