Hiking trails are right in front of the apartment, for example, they will lead to the Waldbach waterfall. Stay on the Way of Saint James you can enjoy the view of Lake Constance, Zurich crisis or the Säntis. In 25 minutes you can reach the Säntis or the seven Churfirsten as well as Thurwasser Falls by car. There is space for your car as well as bicycles.

We had a great stay with Kurt. The house is full of character and located quietly in the hills overlooking the lake. The interior is tasteful and comfortable. Additionally we had nice talks and were offered a generous breakfast from local products. Unfortunately we stayed two nights only and had to leave rather early the last morning. It is a wonderful place to stay and explore the area from. Thank you.

The accommodation at Maya's is highly recommended. I felt very comfortable from the beginning and was warmly welcomed by Maya. This place is magical!! You have to get the sky loft room with the bathtub an breathtaking views of Lake Lucerne. You did need a rental car to book this place. But it’s worth it.

I arrived really late in the evening and they were very kind to send me a video of the building entrance, how to find my room and the location of all the shared amenities (shower, dining room, etc). (Of course I don't know if it is always possible to check in at such a late time as I did). The breakfast was also good!
