Very lively but quiet neighbourhood just minutes from the Jean-Talon market and Little Italy, bakeries, cafés, grocery, pharmacy, wine bars, breweries and more. Once you walk in the yard, you enter an oasis that seems miles away from the city’s buzz. Subway station 5 minutes away, 20 minutes from downtown and Old Montreal. This condo is perfect for a couple. You could have a third person sleep on the couch.

Staying at Sandra’s place was such a comforting and memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, she was incredibly warm and welcoming. The free breakfast was a lovely and thoughtful bonus. And I can’t forget to mention her adorable cats — they added such a cozy, homey vibe to the whole stay. It’s clear that Sandra genuinely cares about her guests’ comfort. Cecilia makes you feel right at home. Her BnB has a convenient location. It’s just a one block walk to the LionelGroulx metro #2 stop that takes you directly to the main train station in downtown Montreal. The number 747 bus is a nonstop ride to/from the airport and takes about 20 minutes. There is a new bakery a block away and it’s a three block walk to the Marché Atwater. One could “graize” for days without ever leaving the market. Around the market, you will find many restaurant choices from a typical diner to high-end foodie choices.

Ginette and Jean gave us a very warm welcome. Their charming house is tastefully decorated, and the view of the river turn is simply splendid. We enjoyed the interesting and pleasant conversations, always punctuated by Jean's excellent humor, which we could have continued endlessly with pleasure. Not to mention Ginette's excellent recipes, never greedy to recommend the points of interest to discover beyond the most touristic. My husband and I celebrated our anniversary weekend in this beautiful abode and it was a wonderful experience from Isabel and Sylvain's friendly hospitality to their cozy outdoor oasis, complete with a hottub and pool. Their delicious breakfasts were superb! They made us feel comfortable and at home without impinging on our privacy. They are truly super hosts and we intend to return for another getaway!
