Very peaceful place. The space is large and the cottages are far enough apart to be quiet. Common infrastructures are diverse and although there is a small stream it is quite suitable for children. Very well-equipped, very clean accommodation and new and very well arranged bathroom.

Good evening Sandrine and Sébastien, We were really very happy in your slice of heaven! The surroundings are filled with charming spots (even in the rain!)! We were won over by the interior of the house which immerses us in a warm and welcoming universe! All rooms are tastefully arranged! We immediately felt welcomed! The animals for our little kids were a great attraction! They often liked to go and give them some bread crusts or a carrot! We really liked the bar behind the pool and its juke box and the atmosphere of the 60s, 70s! Great! We said to ourselves that in summer, we would have enjoyed these places more, but who knows? Maybe we'll come back one day... We're very sad to have forgotten to put a comment in your guest book!!! Well done for everything! Odette and Bernard

Had a great time! It was all in tip top shape. The host responds quickly to questions, the cottage was very clean and everything was present! Exactly like the description and like the photos. Calm environment, ideal for rest. We enjoyed it tremendously!

Very nicely decorated home full of authentic elements. Although the village was clearly alive, it was very quiet. Very convenient location to get out into nature & then have a snack in the local pizzeria or brasserie.

This cottage is a country house in the old village, in the center of the village. It has the advantage of being within walking or reasonable distance of beautiful walks, bike rides or car rides. Parking is easy. It's comfortable, relatively spacious and well-equipped. The owners are responsive and communication is very fluid. There are no more shops in Laifour, you have to plan what you need. The ground floor of the cottage lets in little natural light, but the floor is bright. The small enclosed garden a few meters behind the house is very pleasant in good weather. In short, a place to remember if you love the Ardennes!

We were hosted very well by Nicole and her husband. We felt like we were arriving at a friend's house. Nicolas took the time to explain to us what to do in the area and tell us about his region and a binder carefully prepared by him contained a lot of information. Very responsive also if we had a question. I highly recommend it. If we go back to the area, we'll go to their home.

Super nice and well equipped Airbnb. Fully equipped. Highly recommendable. Beautiful walks in the area and plenty of other activities to do, from Geocashen to beer tasting. Please note that sleeping place 5&6 is a sofa bed in a room that is not lockable and is located next to the living room.

Our stay at Pascal and Kilian's was great! The house is very comfortable and in a warm setting. The garden is charming with pleasant private spaces such as the covered terrace. We tried the table service menu and the dishes were beautiful and very good! Recommended!

The property is located in a beautiful & peaceful neighborhood. It is east to reach most of the lovely places in Ardennen. The bakery which is closeby is the best.

I had a wonderful 4-week stay at Dorothee's place. It is a cozy home, in a very quiet area. Very well equipped, everything that you might need for extended stays. Great internet too with a nice desk, so very suitable if you also need to work from time-to-time. It's located in a lovely area in the French Ardennes. A great place to visit if you're in to cycling or longs walks/hiking. Highly, highly recommended!

Very good stay, very well arranged and clean, the bedding is very comfortable. I loved the Ardennes, lots of things to visit nearby. The Lac des Forges is great for swimming and the forest museum is also a must. In short, great!

We had 3 very nice days with eight of us in this house. Beautiful kitchen, very nice rooms with bathrooms so that was very pleasant. Unfortunately, the weather was not so good during our stay, but this house lends itself perfectly to cooking/dining extensively and having a drink by the fireplace. However, there is very little to do in the village. It felt like a ghost town with only 2 bakeries open. If you are looking for a quiet environment, this is very suitable, but if you are looking for some 'life in the brewery', there is only the beer tasting of Chimay where you can go and then it stops. All in all, a nice house for a large family or some older company that comes for relaxation.

The accommodation was really great, super well-equipped, the view from the terrace is magnificent, a very quiet and relaxing place close to a small village with a very beautiful park and very beautiful hike… thank you to Coralie, the person who took care of us, available to answer all our questions…. A great stay, I recommend it...
