The house is ideally located in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood, yet easily accessible and close to public transport, making it easy to get around. The place is in a good location. It was safe and not too far from downtown Philly. I took an Uber into town each day and then took one back whenever I was done. Shannon does provide rides (for a fee) for her guests when she’s home and available, which was nice. The only negative is that one must climb several flights of stairs to get to the room. Other than that it was an overall good experience. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay at Andrea’s home! Andrea and her husband were so sweet. We had our infant son with us and they were so accommodating. Beautiful home/room. Breakfast was delicious. Definitely recommend.

Excellent place to stay! Johanna and Chris were great hosts for the short time that I stayed with them! The bedroom was very comfortable. It was a nice touch with the breakfast. Very peaceful location with sounds of nature.

This place is amazing for a night stay! Firstly, the host was very responsive. I was sent clear rules and requirements for this place. Very clear and direct. This is an apartment in a quiet neighborhood and the whole unit is very quiet. It made sense they also expect you to be quiet in their place. The whole neighborhood was so quiet that when a car drove by you could clearly hear it. The room was very spacious. More than enough room to stretch. The bed was comfy and plenty of pillows were provided. A towel in the bedroom. Big bottles of shampoo, conditioner and soap in the bathroom. Very clean throughout the place. This might not be the place if you don’t bring a car and expect to just walk around the corner and find all the attractions, but to me it was everything I could ever ask for. Very clear instructions. Very easy communication. Will stay here again :)

Annette was extremely kind and accomodating. Our room was comfortable and our bathroom was clean. We had everything we needed given to us right at the start of the stay. Annette provided wonderful breakfast options as well. Overall, it is an extremely cozy and peaceful place to stay where you will have everything you need. I would absolutely stay here again!

This was a great spot for my family to stay. We were in town for a family wedding. We had the apartment on the second floor, so there were stairs. There were people above and below us. My elderly family members navigated the stairs by going slow. I adored the next door neighbor. D. gave us tips about the neighborhood and he was a delight to chat with. We appreciated everything, thank you! Check if there are certain smaller amenities you need before you go.

Great location, close to Fishtown, a host that’s on point with communication. We enjoyed our stay here, and will look back when visiting the city again.

Rob and Amanda’s place was what I was looking for. The place is at the center of everything, making it easy to get to where I needed to be for the few days I stayed. The hosts gave excellent explanations and were responsive and kind.

Perfect spot for a family needing multiple bedrooms. My family was in Philly for a nearby wedding. This Airbnb is in an up and coming neighborhood with a coffee shop, brewery, and restaurant within walking distance. Although it’s located above a breakfast/lunch restaurant, it was quiet and private, especially in the bedrooms which are in back. The kitchen and living room made for a great place to hang out with takeout food. We really enjoyed breakfast downstairs at Taylor’s and were pleasantly surprised that Si had left a gift card. Parking was easy with clear instructions from Si. Would definitely recommend.

A well maintained and such a great place to stay. Within easy driving distance to Doylestown and surrounding area. It was great to stay with Patti and the double bedroom, bathroom and kitchentte was clean and so inviting. I would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely stay in Rob and Amanda’s Manayunk apartment. We visited during a heat spell in June, and the window air conditioners worked very well. The apartment is comfortable. The kitchen is stocked for cooking and has nice appliances. There is a private back patio which is great for sitting out in the evening. A parking space is included with the apartment, and this was a big bonus for us since we always drive to visit family in the area. We plan to return to Rob and Amanda’s apartment in the future.

Location was great… near stores & some restaurants. Most of it was private & quiet… my room (201) had a spacious en suite bathroom and peaceful green views. Had coffee & snacks daily downstairs ( nice Keurig machine!). Overall, met & exceeded expectations.

Marcia is nice, friendly, and responsive. The place is spacious and the kitchen is well equipped. The place is close to transit stations (a regional rail station, a few bus stops, and a trolley station). There're several stores and restaurants close to the the rail station. The neighborhood is peaceful. In all, during my stay, I felt at home, and would like to stay again if I have a chance!

This was my favourite Place to stay during our USA-Trip. If you like a modern hotel, this is probably not for you. But for us, it was perfect. We had a huge room with the coziest bed ever. We enjoyed the breakfast (whitch is inculded in the price) everyday. The Staff is super friendly and heartwarming. If you are looking for a place to sleep and you are in the area, this is your place to go.

Molly and Dan are fantastic people. They welcomed us into their home and made us feel like a party of the household. The house is full of warmth and charm found in antiquity. They’re black cat was super friendly. Would 100% recommend a stay at the James Matthew’s house. Beautiful garden, private covered porch, and so many snacks!!
