What a treat to stay at McCaela's magical, cozy, home! Everything – from the surroundings, to the furnishings, to the amenities – were just perfect. Entry into the house was no problem, and inside we found a delightfully thoughtful and intentional home that was extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. Just as key, the bed in the primary bedroom was supremely comfortable! We had no reason to ask any questions, and we had no issues at all; still, McCaela reached out to make sure we were settled and to see if we needed anything. We SO appreciated her generosity, kindness, and insight into (and commitment to) the local community. It's clear that a great deal of thought and care has gone into this house, and we would stay there again in a heartbeat. The location is perfect – off the beaten path and extremely private, yet close to everything we wanted in the Berkshires. I highly recommend staying here, ideally for longer than the two nights we did. We can't wait to return!

Rachel’s carriage house is a charming and beautifully maintained property—just as described and shown in the photos. Even though the weather wasn’t ideal during our stay, we thoroughly enjoyed cozying up and relaxing in the warm, inviting space. One of our favorite features was the natural light streaming through the tall paned windows in the kitchen and dining area, overlooking the garden—a perfect setting for our morning coffee. The carriage house was thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable and restful getaway. It’s clear that Rachel has put a lot of care into creating a welcoming experience for her guests. We truly enjoyed our time in the Berkshires and would happily return!

Truly a magical spot. We’ve stayed at many unique Airbnbs, and this one is up there as a favorite. It’s so peaceful and beautiful; the walk down makes it feel like you are truly remote and alone. The screened porch is perfect for listing to the stream at all points of the day. The cabin itself is furnished in a quirky and cozy way, and the beds are very comfortable. The full kitchen had everything needed. The host was super friendly and responsive. We would absolutely would recommend to others!

We absolutely loved our stay at this cozy, charming cabin! It’s the perfect place to unplug and unwind. Nestled in a peaceful, quiet setting, the cabin feels like a true retreat from everyday life. We especially enjoyed the screened-in porch for morning coffee and evening chats. The nearby waterfalls (a 30–40 minute walk or 10-minute drive) were a wonderful way to enjoy the area’s natural beauty. The two-person soaking tub was a highlight—so relaxing after a hike! The cabin is thoughtfully equipped with a small but functional kitchen, which made it easy to prepare simple meals. We also appreciated the high-quality linens and comfortable bed—such a nice touch that made our stay feel special. While it’s ideal for unplugging, there is Wi-Fi if you need it. There are also some cute towns nearby, full of antique shops and local charm. It was the perfect blend of nature, comfort, and low-key exploration. We’re already dreaming of our next visit!

We absolutely loved our stay at Fil & Ellie’s place, it made it the highlight of our trip. From the minute we walked in, it felt so calm. The place is beautiful with all the amenities. We enjoyed the hot tub, grill, fireplace. We’ve been to the Catskills countless times and this is the best experience due to the wonderful stay. Thank you!

We stayed here on our way to Stowe to break up our long drive with an 8 and 2 year old. It ended up being a wonderful mini trip that we didn't want to leave. The house exceeded our expectations in terms of quality, cleanliness, and amenities. And the location was excellent - about 10 to 12 min to the nearest grocery store and downtown with restaurants, Edith Wharton's estate about 20 min away, and Great Barrington/Stockbridge were easily accessible for day trips. We plan to come back for skiing, and to take advantage of the lake activities in the summer. The only downside was the busy road, as mentioned in the listing, but the traffic quieted down in the evening and it didn't affect our sleep at night with the bedrooms located in the back of the house (husband is a very light sleeper; we did bring and use sound machines just in case).

Sharon and Oliver were wonderful hosts! They greeted me with friendly smiles and a gift of maple syrup upon arrival, and they were proactive and responsive throughout my stay. The apartment is spacious, spotless and inviting, and I immediately felt right at home. The super comfy bed and blackout shades make for a great night's sleep, and the view from the windows is spectacular. This airbnb was one of my favorites, and I look forward to staying here again when I come back to the area.

We really enjoyed our long weekend at Jake’s rental. I love the aesthetic of the space. It was very comfortable for myself, my husband and our mini Aussie dog. It is a quick drive to Great Barrington. We loved Mooncloud which features interesting cocktails and charcuterie. Down the street from the house is access to the Appalachian Trail. It was an easy drive to Pittsfield for my brother’s birthday. Would love to come again!
