Lisa and Andy were great hosts. The house was comfortable and walking distance to the beach. Everything was as listed and hosts were responsive. Lots of great areas to hike nearby and awesome restaurants like “the Hideout”. Definitely recommend.

Place was great! Small, but that was great for us. Loved that it came with the bikes, surfboards, hot tub, fire pit, etc. we used everything! Evan was very responsive to questions and helpful with recommendations.

Himani was super sweet! She made sure she was available when we arrived to give us the keys then gave us a run down of the place. My husband and I stayed with our friend and her fiancé so it was perfect as there were 2 private bedrooms, each with a private entrance outside. Each couple had our own half restroom and shared a shower, so if you don’t mind that, this place is perfect! Super close to Capitola and seascape resort where we attended a wedding.

Marina and Erik were friendly and great hosts. They were warm and responsive. We had a very pleasant stay at their place.....lots of treats for. breakfast, very clean, comfy bed, nice hot shower, nice pots to cook with, unscented natural cleaning products throughout the house. We were there for a wedding and we have a very nice restful stay at their home. We didn't have time to explore the neighborhood or walk around though so I can't comment about that but the location is nice because it's near, Capitola and Aptos along with all that Santa Cruz has to offer.

We had the pleasure of staying with Chris when we came to visit for a family friend’s graduation. This place is beyond beautiful. We arrived in the middle of the night because of work obligations, but Chris provided us very clear instructions on how to get into the property. When we awoke, we were deep inside what looked a felt like a fairy garden. It was so peaceful to wake up and see green leaves from a serene garden surrounding us. Hear the chirping and chittering from the nearby wildlife, and see a gorgeous stained glass window painting the wall in color as the sun rose. It was pretty magical, it felt like I was in the coastal Barbie house of my dream. And to top that off, we were welcomed with a sweet little treat basket with goodies and a stocked fridge full of drinks and coffee. Highly would recommend staying here and looking forward to staying with Chris again.

Thank you Steve and Wendy for hosting us. Our previous booking cancelled on us hours before our departure and our last minute booking with them was a life saver. Their home is beautiful and they are very friendly and knowledgeable of the area.

The location is a destination in and of itself! Gorgeous property with cozy and homey furnishings. The linens were fresh and smelled so good! Beautiful views everywhere you look inside the suite. They event out pillows in the bench next to the window so you can gaze and watch the sunset. My favorite part is the garden swing next to the orange tree. The hot tub is luxurious as well—great for a couples retreat or break from the busy city

Gabriel is a super friendly and responsive host. His home is nestled amongst the trees, and you really get to enjoy it with so many windows and sliding doors that open out to all the nature. The main room was perfect for our family and friends to hang out in. Short walk to Cat and Cloud for morning coffee, New Leaf for groceries, and Penny’s for some ice cream. For mobility, there are quite a few level changes and gravel paths to navigate, just fyi.

Binh and his wife were absolutely a dream. Took great care of us, and checked in often to make sure we had everything needed. Place was wonderful and stocked with all sorts of little touches that went the extra mile. Would happily stay again.

Small but very clean and quiet. Unlike many rentals, the flat screen TV worked perfectly and was set up to be enjoyed comfortably. We just needed a place to sleep at night and this place met our needs with zero issues.

Great spot and excellent hosts! Seeing Charlie the Golden next door was a lovely touch. His head toss and backward look with that smile warmed the heart. Thank you for the hospitality. Hot tub was great too. Spotless place.

This Airbnb was perfect for a little getaway! Close enough to downtown to explore but just far enough away to have some privacy! Christina was amazing in providing us recommendations about places to check out and ones to maybe avoid. I will be looking for another weekend to come and explore more in the future!

We wrapped up a 3 week vacation where we changed Airbnb's every 4-5 days. Anu's home was by far the best places we have had the pleasure of renting. Anu is a kind host who is proactive and detailed in her communication. The listing is exactly as advertised but even more peaceful than I expected. Location is superb, only 5 minutes from great shops and 15 minutes from Point Lobos, an excellent hiking and beach location. The rental is pristine and VERY clean. It includes all the extras... blankets, toilet paper, plates, cups, utensils, etc. It includes lots of perks like a Nespresso and high end Tuft and Needle bed which was the best nights sleep I've had in ages. The bathroom is stocked with Olaplex shampoo/conditioner as well as sulfate free options, face cleanser, lotion, bath salts, and fluffy towels. Carmel-by-the-Sea has many hotel options, but this place is much quieter due to its location on a cul de sac. Google maps navigates to the street behind the house. Check your maps.

Stayed a couple nights for some business, very lovely and private neighborhood with kids playing in the streets sometimes, it was heartwarming to see a positive community, the entry was easy to find and parking was very spacious enough to use, very convenient area and not too far from the Great Mall or Japan Town, the room was not too small but definitely more recommended towards singular or couples, there was no AC except for a cooling/heating fan that provided enough to warm or cool the room especially at night, my only personal opinion was the bed was a bit too stiff and hard for me to fully enjoy, I already have back issues so sleeping there wasn't entirely super comfortable but bearable during the night, aside from that, there was almost zero noise level heard from the house and very comforting to stay, I definitely would recommend to anyone and likely will return very soon :)

Jane’s place was a peaceful quaint spot for our weekend getaway. There’s a beautiful sunroof above the bed which gave great natural light, and the whole place had everything we needed and more, especially the kitchen, despite it size – even though we didn’t cook, in the case of a stay in night, we knew Jane’s kitchen was well equipped, same with the bathroom. Jane was very communicative throughout the whole weekend, with clear instructions on checking in and checking out. She was also very flexible with the check-in time, which we really appreciated. Overall, Jane’s space was a great spot to get away for the weekend and get out of town. Thanks again, Jane!

Ryan made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. The room itself is beautiful and the backyard is the perfect place to lounge out and relax. Anytime we needed something, Ryan responded promptly and accommodated all our needs.

This place is great. Nice patio area with chairs. Bathroom is spacious with his and hers sinks. Bed is super comfortable, memory foam. Host is super friendly and helpful with whatever you need.

Hard to find a better priced place with this level of modernity and space. As others have mentioned it's a windy drive from highway 17, about 35 minutes from Santa Cruz, 20 minutes from Los Gatos (really cool town), and 30 minutes from San Jose. Of course, the semi-remote location is part of the appeal - redwood trees all around the yard, visible from inside the house, and all around beautiful steep terrain. The attached home is great - super comfortable couch in the living room, great bed in the bedroom, kitchenette and spacious bathroom.

Perfect place for a quick little getaway in Carmel/Monterey Bay! Cynthia’s place was very comfortable and nicely furnished, with plenty of amenities ☺️ Not to mention, the place was close to downtown, the beach, restaurants, etc!!

Enjoyed our time staying here. The space was very clean and spacious for two people. The location was nice as well- felt private but minutes away was the Valley Fair mall and the Santana Row shopping area. Thao was also very responsive.
