Family-friendly vacation rentals in Monte Gordo

For those looking for a paradise away from the chaos of the city, this little corner surprised us a lot. Very well-equipped and clean, we had a very fun weekend in the various leisure areas available. Whenever it was necessary to communicate with the person in charge, I received a response in 5 or 10 minutes. 5 stars. I recommend

Orlando and his wife Armanda are super hosts. They are very friendly and communicative. Their place is very peaceful and lovely. They have allowed us to pick up fresh oranges and eggs . We have loved our stay in their place. We just wish the weather was more warmer so we could use a pool more ☀️

Ana is a wonderful host, she met us at the property and showed us around, she have us lots of helpful hints and tips about the locality. I had a couple of questions during our stay and she responded within minutes, offering to come over if required. The house was spacious and very clean. Everything you could want was provided which was excellent because we didn't have to go out immediately to buy anything. Coffee, tea, sugar, salt, pepper, a wide range of spices, olive oil, etc etc. There was body wash in the bathrooms and towels were provided for the hot tub too. The location is perfect, so close to town and to plenty of shops bars cafes and restaurants. This was definitely a 10 out of 10 experience and we would happily return. Thanks Ana, much appreciated

We had a great time. The place is peaceful, very safe for our 3 and 6 year old children, who spent their time observing animals and playing with the available facilities, really allowing us to rest. Our host was not only very welcoming, but also extremely caring, always there to give advice and let us taste the products from her garden. The place is on average a 10-20 minute drive to beautiful beaches. Not only do we recommend this place, but we might even come back...

This is a remarkable residence if you value space, peace and comfort in a beautiful aesthetic. The best of all was the large terrace that has the benefit of sunrise and sunset. Pack your bags, you'll love it and Tavira is always a treat yo visit. Just dont tell anyone else!!

Leanor's place was amazing and the photos do not do it justice. It was like a holiday on a filmset. There were so many activities for the children as well as plenty of spaces and nooks for the adults. The kitchen was well supplied with appliances and crockery and it was only a 5 minute drive to the supermarket and shops. We highly recommend the home. Janice

Small peaceful haven with a beautiful garden. Very nice hosting by Annabella and the lovely elderly owners. Close to Tavira and Olhea and beautiful beaches.

We spent a lovely stay at this villa. Very well maintained, very clean and comfortable - located in a very nice pine tree private condominium with other villas near by. It can accommodate 10/12 people with plenty of space. Kitchen has been renovated this past winter, and most of the kitchen appliances are new. It has AC in all areas which is perfect for summer and winter months. The garden is very nice and the swimming pool with plenty of sun! Hosts are amazing and did everything they could to meet our needs. They also supported us with suggestions and requests prior our stay! We cannot ask for more, and we will come back definitely next year.

We had a lovely stay at this cosy little apartment — truly a hidden gem in Albufeira! The location couldn’t have been better, with easy walking access to the Old Town, the beach, key attractions, great restaurants, and just a short stroll to the marina for boat tours to the Benagil caves. The apartment was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxed stay. Isabel was incredibly kind and highly accommodating, especially considering we were travelling with our infant. She made sure we were comfortable and had all we needed. We felt very welcome and at home throughout our stay. We’d absolutely love to return to this place the next time we’re in Albufeira. Highly recommended!

I had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful property! The space was peaceful, comfortable, and full of charm – the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully arranged, and you can really feel the care that’s gone into creating such a welcoming environment. One of the unexpected highlights was getting to meet their three lovely dogs – Nuts, Thelma, and Louise. Each of them has such a sweet personality, and they added so much warmth and character to our stay. Thank you for the incredible hospitality – I hope to return again soon!

Helena's house is great, comfortable, spacious and very clean. She was always attentive to our needs and explained all the conditions very well. Ideal for dog wear. Really lovely apartment. Very clean and well stocked… had everything you could need. The view from the balcony is fab, so relaxing to sit there listening to the lapping of the waves. Jose and Diogo were very nice to deal with. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for some quiet time out.

The apartment corresponds to the description. Very quiet surrounding area, quick access to the beach and main avenue. Restaurants very close. I recommend the space, very pleasant, I felt at home.

We had such a wonderful time at Manuel’s place. He was so welcoming and the apartment and pool were gorgeous. So peaceful and located in the heart of the algarve. We explored all along the coast and mountains from Monchique to Ria Da Formosa - which we highly recommended. Thank you!

This was our 5th stay at the old village but first with Joanna. Apartment was lovely, really clean and well maintained. We loved the location right next to Artisan bar and pool. Joanna was a great host, extremely responsive and helpful. My only criticism is the beds in the second bedroom weren’t very comfy. But apart from that we thoroughly enjoyed our time here!

Great place to stay. Great host giving us lots of useful tips. Very friendly, exactly as described. Good location for accessing beaches, towns and countryside. a Although you do have to drive everywhere. Would go back tomorrow!!

The host, Ann, was very nice. Good communication and informative. Good kitchen facilities. Washing machine for laundry and clothes line on terrace. Great sea views and amazing sunsets from the balcony. Great walks along the multiple boardwalks leading to beaches and the inlet where the fishing boats go to Isla Christina. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

A beautiful villa with a huge pool surrounded by beautiful countryside. The kids loved exploring & the hosts were very responsive with a few issues which arose. We would love to return!
