"Machiya = Traditional Kyoto style house" This house has a small garden, called "Tsuboniwa" You can see the greens from Bedroom and Bath room. House is 80 years old, we have renovated it clean and convenient. And yet you can feel the old style and original sense. We have a unique bath tab, called "Goemon buro" Its a round shape tab made of Iron. This is a traditional bath tub.

Haruya Guesthouse

Our guesthouse is in a beautiful mountain village, near to it are pristine forests with beech trees and an ancient mountain path that was used to carry sea products from Japan sea to Kyoto in old days. In front of the guesthouse runs a stream that is a source of Lake Biwa and its water is crystal clear ; in early summer nights many fireflies fly over the stream. In winter, we have a lot of snow ; sometimes it reaches 2 meters from the ground! On clear nights you can enjoy the sky full of stars.

You can also use wifi. The bath is about the size of two adults and uses Japanese cypress. It will be a very beautiful room just opened in January. Please try and stay at once. The location of the hotel is in a place where you can walk to downtown area of Kyoto and famous temples. It is a very convenient place.
