Mikami Kanbei Main Store - Enjoy Edo's mood away from the cultural property "Former Sanjo House"

This is a private rental accommodation located next to the historic site of the former Sanjo residence in Miyazu City, Kyoto Prefecture. The former Sanjo family has prospered in the shipping, silk, and sake industries in Miyazu Castle since the Edo period. It was also the residence of the Edo shogunate patrol officer, and in the Meiji period, it was the residence of Prince Arisugawa Takahito and Prince Komatsu Takahito, and is now designated as an important cultural property by the country. We have rebuilt the annex as an inn, "Miyanaka Kanbei Honten". The name of the house is the same as the sake brewery at the time. The owner carefully selected high-quality flooring and tiles while maintaining the atmosphere of that time, and placed selected sofas, tables, and bar counters in the living room on the ground floor. We have created a space for you to relax and unwind. Please spend your time in a high-quality space while feeling the history and seasonal changes of Miyazu, a port town that has fascinated many people since ancient times. Guests staying at the property will receive a free ticket to the former residence of the Mikami family! You can use it on either your check-in or check-out date. We hope you enjoy the Edo atmosphere. The opening hours of the Former Sanjo Matsuya residence are from 9: 00 to 17: 00. (Admission reception is until 16: 30) Closed during the New Year's holidays (December 29 - January 3).

A building where you can stay while feeling the region

A property that had been vacant for about 3 years in the "Kami-Miyazu" area, which boasts countryside scenery and is about a 10-minute drive from the center of Miyazu, was renovated into a private rental accommodation. It is 10 minutes to the sea, 15 minutes to Amanohashidate, and 45 minutes to Ine no Funaya. It is not a particularly beautiful facility, but you can spend a relaxing time unique to the area. Basically, we don't serve food, but if you'd like, you can book a breakfast onigiri set at the nearby onigiri cafe, which is limited to our facility (for a fee) We can also introduce you to local people, BBQ, harvesting experiences, e-bike tours in the area, and more. Please check with me in advanced. BBQ is also available for rent as a set for ¥2,200. (Chairs, stove, charcoal, lighter, from preparation to cleaning up) Food is not included. Please bring your own. We do not allow BBQs outside of rentals. In the garage, in addition to BBQ, you can do bicycle and motorcycle maintenance without getting wet from the rain. You can store it in a locked building, so you can travel around Tango with peace of mind. Parking is available right behind the facility.

We've created a space where everyone is equal and happy! This is a luxury plan with just one group at a time. You can enjoy different views from the 1st and 2nd floors! Each floor is fully equipped with a bathroom toilet! The first floor bath is equipped with heating and a mist sauna! The toilet on the first floor is a large multipurpose toilet! The first floor window opens to the sea It's an ocean view! I am disabled and currently in a♿️ wheelchair! The memories of my family's beach vacation when I was in elementary school I can't forget it, and I'm deeply moved that I was able to create a barrier-free accommodation. Limited to one private villa per day. The semi open-air bath with 100% natural hot springs overlooks the Sea of Japan. Enjoy the contrast between the nature of Kyoto and the Sea of Japan, and the slow flowing luxurious time. Relax in the dining room with a spacious countertop kitchen.You can also enjoy BBQ on the wooden deck with a view of the sea. All 3 bedrooms. Please enjoy your time with your family, friends, couples, etc. while also securing a private space. In summer, we also recommend swimming in the pool and at the beach, which is 5 minutes from the inn. Our guesthouse is in a beautiful mountain village, near to it are pristine forests with beech trees and an ancient mountain path that was used to carry sea products from Japan sea to Kyoto in old days. In front of the guesthouse runs a stream that is a source of Lake Biwa and its water is crystal clear ; in early summer nights many fireflies fly over the stream. In winter, we have a lot of snow ; sometimes it reaches 2 meters from the ground! On clear nights you can enjoy the sky full of stars.

I am an Artist / Photographer born in Kyoto I started hosting because I love meeting people from all over the world and making new friends. This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts. Private cypress bath and renovated rooms and made another entrance for the Guests. So now it is 2 separate house Please check the house rules before you book.

《May 2019 TV can be watched.》 It is located 15 minutes on foot from Kyoto station. It will be lent to a Kyoto townhouse style building. I put the finest furniture and the finest bed. You can also use wifi. The bath is about the size of two adults and uses Japanese cypress. It will be a very beautiful room just opened in January. Please try and stay at once. The location of the hotel is in a place where you can walk to downtown area of Kyoto and famous temples. It is a very convenient place.

宮津市街中心部に残る築100年の純日本家屋「小粥家」アンティーク古民具や階段箪笥、長持(布団などを収納する嫁入り道具)が飾られ、昔ながらの日本の暮らしが体験できます。和貴宮神社裏手に佇み、神社の祝詞が静かに響いてきます。その先には、2024年1月国の重要文化財に指定された日本最古級の木造教会堂「カトリック宮津教会」があります。宮津駅から徒歩8分(600m)、海までは5分。スーパー、コンビニ、コインランドリーが徒歩5分圏内にあります。日本三景·天橋立まで自転車で15分という大変恵まれた立地です。松並木を走った先にはパワースポットとして名高い「元伊勢籠神社·真名井神社」があります。伊根の舟屋までは市役所前からバスで約1時間、片道400円でアクセスできます。古民家のため、家の密閉性はあまりありません。冬は暖房器具を完備していますので寒さはしのげますが、隣家との壁が薄いです。特に夜間は大きな声や音を出さないよう、よろしくお願いいたします。家具家財が古いため、10歳未満のお子様のご宿泊はご遠慮ください。英語対応OK。お気軽にご相談ください。
