This cabin was exactly as pictured, and exactly what my husband and I were looking for to have an escape from work. We enjoyed the firepit (David had wood and kindling at the ready), lounge chairs, and eating outdoors. We love birding, and our bird app identified dozens of species around the property. The place was sparkling clean. We enjoyed the windows surrounding the space, and spent time reading and watching movies on the Smart TV. WiFi was more than adequate. If you forget something, there is a Dollar General Market just down the road. There was produce, along with plenty of grocery items. We went to the George Washington Carver National Memorial and walking trail, which we both loved. We also went to Grand Falls south of Joplin. We had lunch at Undercliff Grill - fun! There is plenty to see and do in the area! David was fantastic! Responsive and friendly, but not pushy or hovering. We were able to meet him, and he is a great guy. We will be back! I already miss the river!

Felt warm and welcoming. We will definitely be Back. I love that it was so close to Hill creek Church. We stayed for a lady’s conference. It was great we sung worship by the fire great kitchen for preparing meals. Can’t wait to come back with all the kids awesome tree house and swing house!!! Thank you guys

This was the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at with our church youth group! It was so peaceful, so clean, and they had everything we needed. The kids spent so much time outside playing in the beautiful yard. They enjoyed interacting with the animals and collecting the eggs for breakfast. It was SO clean and neat! Will definitely come again!

Was excited to stay after finding the listing, had everything we was looking for and then much more. Very peaceful for the location with country setting and then the beautiful wildlife like the deer every-morning going to work and then turkeys in the afternoon. Kinda made it nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of town and was able to just relax here. Only hiccup we ran into was losing power after a rough storm Grant offered to set us up with a generator which was amazing of him but we came prepared and had ours with us. Can’t wait to schedule our next stay here soon.
