House vacation rentals in Mission Bay

Stayed in 10 Airbnb locations in 14 days and this was the best experience we had- right location in the best area ; very well kept and clean home; clear instructions for checkin and even allowed a late checkout. We had a wonderful experience in Auckland- thanks to our place of stay!

Amazing house to stay while in Auckland, our group had an incredible time and felt very special staying in such a beautiful house!

We loved our stay and had such a great long weekend. The view was stunning, and the place had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The pool and spa were perfect. Kim was fantastic with communication and made everything super easy. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and well thought out place to stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Lee's place. It was a lovely house, was very clean and had lots of space for all of us. The area was peaceful, safe and had wonderful views of the ocean. Lee and Joe were wonderful hosts. We appreciated their quick responses and helpful recommendations.

A beautiful, spacious home with a fabulous pool. Extremely close to the local Park Run which was very handy.

We had a fantastic stay at this accommodation! The location is peaceful and quiet, making it the perfect getaway while still being conveniently close to everything we needed. The house itself is well-equipped with plenty of amenities, and the facilities were spotless and well-maintained. One of the highlights was how great the space is for entertaining guests—it’s an ideal spot for bringing extended family together, with plenty of room to relax and enjoy. The hosts were incredibly easy to communicate with and very flexible, which made the whole experience even better. Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and well-appointed stay! We’ll definitely be back.

What a wonderful place to stay! We were travelling with our 1 and 3 year olds and Natalie’s place was perfect. The pool and trampoline, and a little pack of fun things Natalie put together for the kids, kept us all happy and feeling very much at home. The house and yard are even nicer than the pictures, and the location is amazing. Thanks for everything.

Sarah’s home sits in a stunning location. When you walk in the view of the ocean and the bay by Palm Beach and the sailboats against the shimmering water and huge sky is just unforgettable. The house is big and comfortable and well stocked with everything you need. The salt water pool is the perfect temperature and the hot tub is hot and warms you up after swimming. The walking track is right in front of the house. It’s on a steep drive but it’s centrally located on Waiheke and easy enough to get everywhere. We really enjoyed our stay. Ben was an excellent host, helping to accommodate an early check in for our stay. The unit was fantastic, rooms were spacious and clean. It had everything we needed and despite being close to the highway/train line, you can’t hear a thing! We’d highly recommend this apartment for your next stay in Auckland.

We hired Cindy’s House for a family night in Auckland. It was perfect. Had everything we needed for us and our 4 grown up children ! Cindy was awesome to deal with. Would highly recommend.

What a special place to spend a few days in the city. It was a corner of peace surrounded by a mini rainforest that Maureen and Stephan had beautiful curated. They had thought about all the little details, with blankets and a heater as we were going into winter, some supplies of tea, coffee etc, a mini laundry and the icing on the cake was the hot tub. Thank you for sharing this beautiful place! Would highly recommend.

Donna's place was extremely clean and comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped with cutlery, crockery, glasses etc. Sheets and towels all smelt lovely and clean and fresh. All correspondence with Donna was answered promptly. This was our 2nd stay and we would not hesitate to stay again if the need arose.

What a beautiful place! One of the best Airbnb I’ve stayed at. Views are gorgeous and everything was clean. Loved the furniture/ decor. Feels so fresh and new. Good price and perfect for our small group. Would have stayed longer if I had the chance.

We had a fantastic stay - Sophie's place is spacious and cosy and has an absolutely wonderful view. It's extremely central and close to everything. She was a very reponsive and kind host. Highly recommended. We will definitely stay again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Jonny's place! The location is perfect, with a short path leading directly to the beach and nearby shops. The space was very clean and cozy. All the thoughtful little touches Jonny provided made it feel like a home away from home. It was definitely worth the money, and we will certainly be booking again when we return to Auckland!

Great location to New Market/Greenlane and lots of parking on the street. Tom was also very kind in offering us the use of their garage. I would say the Hot Tub is so great for a staycation and a getaway from city life. Our two cats also enjoyed the space and the sun throughout the day :) They also have all the kitchen essentials, as well as a food waste processor, which is handy.

Great place, location & size! They are really friendly and respond quickly. The place itself is nice, clean area in mt Albert and it’s just up the road from the supermarket. Overall such a good place for convenience & quiet.

This place was a little tricky to find BUT Viv was there for check-in and helped us out so much. She was responsive with her communication and made us feel at home. The small backyard was beautiful and the inside was cosy and comfortable.

Such a beautiful, serene spot. Absolutely perfect for our group of ladies. Plenty of space, stunning, modern and comfortable interior. Being able to sit out on the deck with the gorgeous view was incredible, as was the hot tub. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay, it was just what we needed and 100% would return and recommend.

Had a great stay here for 4 nights when visiting for work from Sydney. Likely to visit the area again and would book this place without hesitation. Very comfortable and charismatic home. Plenty of space, a lovely outdoor courtyard, quiet and the hosts checked that we were settled and comfortable before leaving us to enjoy our stay, which was lovely. Thank you Holly and Daniel. We arrived a day later than expected due to flight delays. When we arrived the standard of cleaning was very poor. Although this seems not always to be the case, based on previous comments the guest prior to us certainly had the same issues. However once we contacted the host they responded immediately. Xie in particular put everything in motion, checking in along with Tina that we were satisfied that the cleaning was to an acceptable level. The rest of our time was fantastic(we were there for 6 weeks). Good facilities, there was only two of us so comments about lack of cutlery and utensils from the previous guest didn’t apply. However there is now a spatula as we bought one! Great proximity to the beach and Mission Bay eateries. Would recommend but check cleaning standards.

Exceptional, private location with friendly attentive hosts, just minutes from Ponsonby Road. It was so lovely to close the gates into the lush courtyard and enjoy a well-appointed home away from home, with generous interior spaces, comfortable bedding, and all the amenities needed for a longer stay. Gerard is a kind, generous neighbour & host, ensuring we had everything we needed. Just a few blocks from Ponsonby Rd's hospitality scene, with a dairy at the corner, and a bus stop nearby, there's lots to see, do, and explore in this perfect Grey Lynn bubble!

Amazing spot, felt homely as soon as you walk in. Very descriptive on all appliances which is awesome. Kitchen was well equipped from appliances to an assortment of teas and coffee, spices and even supplied some breakfast food. Definite recommend staying here.
