Located in the center of Main St., on Mirror Lake, Below the Books, Beside the Lake is a lakefront, 2 BR, 1 bath. apt. We have a fully equipped kitchen, but if you don't feel like cooking, one of Lake Placid's busiest restaurants is located right next door. There is in-floor heat in the bathroom, a full-size washer and dryer and the bedrooms have wall-mounted AC. You will have your own private deck with gas grill, and access to Mirror Lake. A renovated 1880’s farmhouse with all the modern amenities yet keeping the charm. It is between Lake Placid (5 miles) and Saranac Lake (4.5 miles) in North Elba’s tiny hamlet of Ray Brook. We are happy to share our vacation home, which we've lovingly prepared to share. Quiet 3 bedroom within a 5min walk to downtown restaurants, coffee, breweries, and shops. There are 2 full baths, dining room with seating for 6, living room (w/fireplace, board games, record player, & a beautiful view of the mountains w/o blinds), fully stocked kitchen (microwave, oven/stove, coffee maker, flatware, utensils, pots, pans, prep utensils). Outside patio with table/chairs/umbrella and coal BBQ.

The Ausable River and Lake Everest are both within walking distance.
