Vacation rentals with lake access in Minusio

Our group of 4 had a wonderful stay at the window to the lake. Beautiful views also to the surrounding Tremezzo and mountains along with a very comfortable stay. We travelled to other locations on Lake Como and even had a night in cooking dinner and drinking wine from the local market. Thanks to Elena E Mara for a great stay!

There were five of us. All persons between 60 and 87 years of age. The house really has everything you want - from the furnishings, to the kitchen and bathroom amenities, to the beautiful garden with the magnificent view. There was nothing missing! We were personally welcomed and instructed by Paul and Silvia and therefore immediately felt very comfortable. Due to the central location of the accommodation in the "Sopra Ceneri", excursions to the entire canton are possible within a short time. We recommend arriving by car. Thanks to the charging station for electric vehicles, you have enough "juice" in the battery every morning, even for longer trips. We are already looking forward to the next visit and thank you very much!

The most breathtaking view ! Perfect spot only 10 minute walk to the town of Dervio. Easy to get the Ferry and explore other spots along the lake. 10/10 recommend!

We stayed in this very nice apartment for 8 days. The terrace with the magnificent view over the lake and the mountains is really wonderful. Unfortunately, the weather was not as hoped. Communication with Laura and Carla was excellent. Everything worked out very well. Thank you for that. The area north of Lake Como is quieter than that in the south and the places in the mountains are worth visiting. We will remember the Ristorante in Livo very well, as well as the venerable Romanesque church of Santa Maria del Tiglio in Gravedona.

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the unbeatable location of this home. Being directly on the lake, the views are nothing short of magical. Waking up in the morning and looking out over the water from the bedroom felt like something out of a dream — peaceful, serene, and impossibly beautiful. The lake was quite literally at our doorstep. The home itself was spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and full of charm. Every little detail was taken care of, and we felt instantly at ease. A special shoutout to our host, who went above and beyond when we realized last minute that we had forgotten to include our mother-in-law as a guest. It was entirely our oversight, and yet the host was kind, understanding, and incredibly accommodating. That kind of graciousness makes all the difference when you’re traveling. We can’t say enough good things about this place — the comfort, the views, the hospitality. If you’re lucky enough to find availability here, book it. Can’t wait to return

Eros and Daniel were the most incredible hosts. The house was beautiful, spotless, and felt like a true escape. Fresh towels and sheets, no bugs, and the private garden with lake views was absolutely stunning. We were walking distance to amazing restaurants, a market, a local bar, and a gelateria with some of the best gelato we’ve ever had. It was also an easy cab ride to Bellagio to catch the ferry to Tremezzo. Eros and Daniel went above and beyond for us. At one point we couldn’t figure out how to turn the stove off and they arrived within minutes to help. Their kindness and care made this one of the best stays we’ve ever had. We wish we could have stayed longer. This was a perfect experience in every way. 10 out of 10.

The apartment is very nice and you have everything you need. Shopping at walking distance. And access to the garden. Veronica and her parents are very nice hosts.

My wife and I absolutely loved Clara's space. She was very friendly and met us when we arrived to show our studio. The self serve store on the first floor was wonderful. There was fresh baked bread daily, gelato, local home made sodas, coffee, clothing and more. The area is absolutely beautiful with waterfalls poking out from the mountains everywhere you look. The location is great to explore nearby towns. The included Ticino passes were a great plus for getting around on public transportation and for deals on other local activities. It was our favorite place that we stayed on our European trip!

Wonderful location of the apartment overlooking Lake Maggiore and the forests, extremely pleasant and relaxing; just "let your mind wander". Very nice co-host Mario; explained everything well (Italian/English). Small suggestion for improvement: The single beds (80 cm) could be a little wider. Exemplary waste separation system! The boxes are available in the kitchen. We felt very comfortable and recovered well! Tanzi grazie🙏.

The greeting upon arrival was excellent, we were offered an upgrade as some guests had cancelled due to weather, a nice gesture! The appartment was well furnished, clean and very comfortable. The location is excellent. Far enough from the busy touristic Bellagio but close enough to walk. The ferry pick up is just steps away. The grounds are immaculate and large enough to get a good run in every morning (5km) track style staying on the stone path that twirls the 42 hectar property. The grounds allow you great views of Tremezzo and Villa Carlotta accross the Lake and you can swim if the tempersture permits on the stairs that access the Lake. This is really a great place to stay! Absolutely amazing stay! Monica and Paolo went above and beyond to ensure we had the perfect stay. Sending the best recommendations and advice. They responded immediately and even came and delivered water when the shops were closed. The place is outstanding with amazing views. Would stay again in a heartbeat and our trip was so special. Would recommend a car to get to and get around as think it would be difficult without car.

I stayed at Alessandra’s place for two nights and had a great experience overall. The apartment was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and right on the beach with a beautiful view. Private parking was a big plus, and check-in and check-out were both very smooth. Alessandra was a wonderful host—very friendly and welcoming. She even brought us homemade cookies, which was such a thoughtful touch! She was also very responsive whenever we needed anything. The only downside is the location—it’s quite remote, with not much to do nearby. You’ll need to drive at least 15 minutes to reach the nearest store . Most places close by 8 PM, so I recommend bringing food and essentials in advance if you’re planning to stay in for the evening. Overall, it’s a peaceful, beachside escape with a great host. Just plan ahead for meals and supplies.

Your place is perfect! When looking out the windows we felt like it was an infinity view, gorgeous. The apartment is better than the pictures and all the nice touches - water, champagne, slippers, snacks were unexpected and so nice! We also loved the speaker and having blackout curtains. I’d highly recommend this apartment for any friends and hope to come back!

We had wonderful days in this very special place. Great overgrown (banana trees!!) and very large outdoor area, we actually swam in the lake every day, which was a highlight for us. The apartment is furnished as in the pictures in the listing with older furniture, especially the 2nd bedroom is sparsely furnished, but was also not used by us. The kitchen, however, is brand new and superbly equipped (coffee machine has already been mentioned several times here). Ursi and Enrico welcomed us very warmly and provided us with good tips for the area, there was also a helpful parking map for free use of the parking spaces along the river. In short, we felt very comfortable, 1000 thanks and we will be happy to come back.

We loved the place! Awesome scenery, beautiful house, quiet and great energy.

The location of the cottage was as wonderful as the pictures suggest, you're far enough from the waters edge to have a sprawling view, and close enough that nothing interrupted the view. Cinzia was very responsive and helpful and the added touches (pastries/wine) were much appreciated. Nesso is beautiful little spot, it can get reasonably busy because of the waterfall and the road from Como to Bellagio is rarely quiet (although we couldn't hear it from the bungalow). Be prepared for some hilly steps though, we clocked up 110 floors of climbing one day (for info, the Twin Towers were also 110 floors!). We found and Cinzia recommended a wonderful restaurant called Il Briisa which we would go back to in a heartbeat. The food, wine, service and ambience were all spot on. Overall, fantastic, it was a surprise break for my wife's 40th birthday and it delivered perfectly.

the accommodation is sufficiently large with one bedroom, one living room, a small kitchen and bathroom. the location is fantastic with a view of the lake and a small beach is also in the immediate vicinity:) the place was clean and the kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary kitchen utensils. we will be happy to come back

Frederico's apartment is a little piece of paradise on earth. The view is amazing. They were super nice during our conversations and gave us great recommendations on what to visit in the area.

We had a fantastic time staying in Dervio at Francesco’s place and exploring the towns surrounding lake Como. The place is perfect for so many reasons, the location is great, right on a small beach with amazing views and a walking path that takes you into town. It’s a short 7 minute walk from the train station and 10 minutes to downtown area with restaurants. There are tons of old walkways that allow you to explore the area. We spent a couple days taking the train and ferry to Bellano, Veranna, and Bellagio (very happy to be in Dervio). We also have two small kids and found the place was great for families with crib, beds with guard rails, and a high chair, along with a playground that just out the front door. The gates were excellent for preventing kids from going to the road or to the lake. The best part was Francesco and his family, they are very warm and welcoming! We spent time with him, his father, aunt, and cousin and very much enjoyed getting to know them!

This place is truly one of a kind. Simply the most exceptional place I have been to. Great restaurants nearby, directly accessible by boat. We just loved cruising around the lake with the small motor boat, it made everything feel more special. The place itself is unique, as only very few houses are available in Santa Margherita. Lots of birds to watch, but the icing on the cake was all the fireflies at night that sparkle in the dark, really magical. But above all, Mattia was the friendliest, most helpful host and made everything nice and comfortable for us.

It was like paradise! A huge garden, private beach - what else could you ask for... A trip to Orta by boat (absolutely!!!) Dog Mogli also liked it very much 😄

Daru’s place is even better than the pictures, incredible views, beautiful bedrooms and fully equipped with all the amenities you may need.
