We can only recommend the property. The kitchen is super equipped, we could start cooking right away. The garden is also so beautiful and you are all alone.

Very nice, spacious apartment. Equipped with cooling, which was very pleasant in the hot temperatures. Large balcony overlooking the lake. Super located, not far from the train station, on the lake and a few minutes' walk from Piazza and the old town.

I stayed here for 3 nights in early June with my two teenage kids and we enjoyed it very much! The lake views were beautiful, and so was the location. We loved being in a small town (with a number of good restaurants) but still close to Lugano, which is also accessible by ferry at a nearby stop. The place was exactly as described and was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Host was responsive and helpful. It's about 25m to get to lake level, where we went swimming a number of times. There's no beach or designated entry point (that I could see anyway) but you can hop in off the edge where the boats are tied up. My kids loved it! We didn't have any issue finding parking at the lot at the top of the village (although the spots were quite tight). It's around a 5-minute walk to the apartment which is well worth it to be so close to the lake! Recommended!

Davide was an amazing host, super fast responsive and with a very professional attitude. He send us very clear instructions for the check-in and the check-in was very easy. His place was very clean and comfortable for our family of 4. The parking space also super convenient for our car and the bikes we carried in order to explore the surroundings. I really recommend Davide’s place and we will be glad to come back 😀 Thank so much. We really enjoyed our stay!

The view is adorable. The location is the best. Car park is crucial to enjoy your stay and it was available upon request for free.

Beautiful home, very easy steps to get into the property. Quick responses, helpful owners who are very accommodating. Amazing location int he heart of Como. Not far from the train station. The cleaner is also very lovely and was so kind to our dog, she couldn’t whip out the bed and water soon enough. Would definitely return and 100% recommend 10/10 ♥️

Super charming home with absolutely stunning views of Lake Como better seen in person. The amenities were wonderful and the hosts were so very friendly, attentive and helpful. Highly recommend staying here! Also, be sure to book any transportation ahead of time.

Lovely to be greeted with a big smile and helpful tips on what to do. The place was perfect size with beautiful view and access to swim in the lake. Perfect for a family with lakeside walk path to beautiful village square. Would rent again.

Both Francesco and his mom are super friendly, and very service minded. We had an amazing stay for 8 days and truly enjoyed it! The view is spectacular! And the apartment is perfect, the kitchen is equipped with everything you need, which makes it easy to cook. I would however recommend trying the local Briisa de ness, really good food. I would stay here again any time! One little note, it’s not that easy to get around in the area with your dog, as there are no paths outside of the roads, the roads are quite small and sometimes a bit busy to walk on. So you will either have to drive a bit to get to an area suitable for walking. However there is a small garden attached to the apartment.

This place was the perfect place to stay if you want a beautiful view of the lake and to be in a quiet neighbourhood. There was pros and cons with the location (cons- trouble finding a taxi to and from the train station and not much in close walking distance & pros- beautiful view, right beside the C30 bus stop) but if you’re up for adventure and fully able bodied it’s worth it! We bought some groceries in Como after spending a the day there and had dinner one night in, walked down the stairs by the bus stop to the lake level for dinner at Ristorante Vapore sul Lago di Como and spent a day at the Lido di Faggeto Miamilaryo, which was a beautiful beach club with good food and drinks. The house was everything we needed and the view had us speechless the whole time. The hosts were quick to respond and help when we had questions. We would highly recommend this stay!

We spent 4 nights in an absolutely ideal place to rest. The setting is very quiet, with a magnificent view of the lake, perfect for disconnecting. We had a place with an outdoor kitchen, which was really nice to enjoy the environment. The room was very good, comfortable and clean. The place is also perfectly suited for a stay with a small child: there is a sandbox, a swing, some toys on site, a high chair, a crib… even board games for family evenings. The owners are lovely, with lots of small touches that make the difference: on our arrival, fresh fruit, yogurt, beer… And for those who like their peace and quiet, don't worry, we hardly saw them The only small point of improvement in my opinion would be the addition of a small pool, that would really be the cherry on top. But otherwise, everything was great, a real slice of heaven

Marugg's place exceeded all of our expectations!!!! Lugano was our final stop on our 2 week family trip through Italy. We experienced many beautiful places throughout the 2 weeks but Marugg's place exceeded them all!!! The attention to detail was phenomenal. The location was 'perfetto,' the views spectacular and the home pristine. Our grandchildren made excellent use of the pool and the outdoor space was incredible! We enjoyed our morning coffee on the expansive patio area soaking in the tranquil views of the lake and all of the beautiful flowers. The smell of honeysuckle abounded outdoors ~ Marugg's home truly encompassed all of the senses. We cannot recommend it enough and we can't wait to return on our next visit to see our Swiss family! Marugg, thank you so much for your kind hospitality! We feel honored to have been welcomed into your exceptional home. We made so many beautiful memories with our family. Friendly and helpful Paola was the perfect hostess. My sister and I were looking for peace and relaxation, and we really got it while sitting on the balcony of the apartment, surrounded by greenery and beauty, enjoying the magical evening sun. There is a lot to see and experience in the area. We returned home relaxed, with wonderful memories.

Had a great time at this apartment! The place is perfectly as described: clean, well-decorated and very well-equipped. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need to cook, and the bathroom is impeccable.

beautiful location. i prefer varnessa to belagio. flat is just the right size for a couple. if there's anything I want to mention is that it's in a much higher location than I expected. one would definitely need a car for more frequent visit to the town below. the host is so friendly and always available and responsive.

This apartment is well equipped and its position on the lake is amazing. The views are stunning . You actually cant wait to come home at the end of the day.Andrea very efficient and helpful...Great swimming pool, and area felt like our own The local shops are great to use slightly more expensive than supermarkets in town but easy to walk to. Wine shop is the best thing ever. You can sample wine before purchasing and its so cheap. Take your own bottle for refill..C10 bus route top of road ,either way is great. 6 mins to Menaggio. Other way is towards Colico. Nice place called Sa Vito kite surfing area and Colico was also nice and not so touristy .

Antonio is an exemplary host! Nothing was too much trouble, his responses to our requests were immediate and he couldn’t have been more helpful. The views, location and ambiance are 5 star plus! Styling was minimalistic but on point. We loved the vibe and it’s the perfect couples retreat. Highly recommended! As hosts ourselves we know how important it is to communicate and provide a bespoke experience for our guests and Antonio exceeded all expectations!
