Located in Papa Bay on a three acre parcel in south Kona. Plenty of privacy in a lush Hawaiian setting. Cool breezes at a 1,000 foot elevation. If you are a scuba diver, we take you out on shore dives. We provide tanks and weights. If you want to snorkel, we can give you a tour of places to snorkel. All of our services are free for our guests. Our location in southern Kona makes it convenient to visit the Volcano National Park, Green Sand Beach, Black Sand Beach and other local attractions.

Come enjoy our guest house with Pebble Beach just a 2 minute walk down the road! Our piece of paradise is located in a peaceful neighborhood where you can see and hear whales spouting and slapping their tails (in season) and enjoy ocean sunsets. Pebble Beach is a great place to snorkel, kayak, or start a hike along the Kings Trail to volcanic formations or a hidden black sand beach. We are located approximately 45 minutes south of Kona, and 75 minutes to Volcanoes National Park.

Milolii Whale House With Ocean Views and Pool!

The Whale House is a great home to watch the whales migrate down the Kona Coast in season! The house has 3 private bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths on two levels. The upper (primary level) includes a full service kitchen, two master bedrooms and 1 & 1/2 bathrooms. The lower living area is separate from the main living space, is handicap accessible (See Accessibility Notes) and has a private master bedroom and master bath. The house is perfect for couples or families.

As seen on HGTV’s Beach Hunters! Koni Kai is perched on an ancient lava flow on the South Kona coast in Milolii, the oldest fishing village in Hawaii. Oceanfront, amazing sunsets, completely remodeled in September 2015, and first time in the vacation rental market. Some of the best snorkeling, diving and fishing on the Big Island can be found directly in front of the house due to a coral reef that spans the north side of the bay.
