We offer accommodation in our old stabbur from 1763. Stay in the middle of the courtyard of our lively small farm and wake up from the rooster crowing. At the same time you can enjoy tranquility and nature, and hear the river running by. Bathing opportunities in the river, or in the thighs with its own floating dock! Say hello to the animals. Here, hens strut and end freely on the tuna, horses and sheep graze around the farm and woolen pigs enjoy life in the forest. Pick fresh eggs yourself for breakfast. Visit the kitchen garden and buy fresh vegetables straight from the field.

The cabin is only 8 km from Bø Sommerland and 20 km from Lifjell Winterland. Very 5 km from the cabin you will find Grønkjær ski resort with great cross country skiing trails. The location in the middle between Bø and Notodden provides opportunities for trade and restaurants In the summertime it is possible to rent the canoe ( on sharing with my second cabin in the area) for NOK 350,- a day.

Reisetid: 1t 50min fra Drammen. 1h 10min from Larvik and Langesund min fra Moheim (E18) 34min from Skien city centre About 25km, there 10km is on a gravel road. Here, great ski is offered in/out for cross country skiing in winter, and great hiking areas with the possibility of picking e.g. blueberries, lingonberries and mules in the fall. Note: fixed beds for 10, but inflatable mattress for an additional 2 pcs. (total 12) See your own map of the area.

The cabin is centrally located with the possibility of different activities for the whole family. Walking distance from the cabin there are marked hiking trails and Lifjell Art Center. By car it takes 10 min to Jønnebu parking and nice marked mountain hikes, summer and winter. There is also the unique Lifjellstua with exquisite menu. By car it takes 5 min to Bø Sommerland and Høyt and Lavt, 10 min to Bø center with various shops, bowling, restaurants, cinema and swimming pool and 30 min to North Sea Golf Club in Ulefoss.

For those who like to be in peaceful surroundings, with bathing water and pier. Approx. 500 meters to walk from the parking lot. 12V systems for lights with solar cell, gas for cooking and refrigerator, as well as water tap for drinking/cooking (tank 100 l.) There are possibilities for internet, but can be unstable. There is one bedroom with 6 beds plus living room and kitchen in open plan. It is approx. half an hour to drive to Bø Sommerland (waterpark for kids/families). Rowing boat included.

The little red cottage portal

The perfect place to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the city life and yet only just over two hours by train from Oslo.. Just above Bø, It is ski in and out in winter.. a couple ski lifts, several cross country ski options and of course the back country for days. During the summer months, there are plenty of hiking options. The place is a traditional cabin from the 50's with a wood stove and all basic amenities. 3 small bedrooms upstairs.. and a nice open space to hang out downstairs.

It's 15 minutes from Bø Sommerland and 5 minutes from Lunde center and fishing, etc. Only minutes to the beach at Norheim. It doesn't have a bathroom etc. Only outdoor toilet. Lovely family cabin by Lifjell ski center.

The cottage is located in quiet and peaceful surroundings and here you can enjoy silence and peace without the neighbor looking at you. It is a short way to the slalom slope as the cabin is located at the bottom of Lifjell ski center (about 400 meters walking distance) Bø is the nearest town and here you will find cozy shops, shopping center, liquor store, cinema, swimming pool and much more. Bø sommerland and Høyt og lav climbing park are about 10 minutes away by car (7km).

Velkommen til Hellebu en old school hytte fra 50 tallet. 10 minutter å kjøre til Bø Sommerland og Bø sentrum. Familievennelig hytte helt for seg selv med utsikt og naturopplevelser rett utenfor hyttedøra. Her finner man roen og kan koble av. Hytta har strøm og fullt kjøkken. Vann blir pumpet elektronisk fra brønn til hytteveggen. Pumpe løsninger inne. Ca 250 m å gå fra parkeringsplassen til hytta. Gjester kaster søppel og vasker ut selv. Ta med sengetøy og håndklær.

Erika's home is amazing and fully lives up to the description. We were 8 people (6 adults and 2 children), and there was plenty of space both outside and inside. Large rooms and a nice children's room with bunk beds, books and toys for children. The kitchen contains everything you need. For information, there is only one toilet/bathroom. A huge and quiet garden with swings, a trampoline and balls. The terrace is also beautiful with lovely furniture, where there is also plenty of space. The house is located in a fantastic natural area with the possibility of walks overlooking the mountain or in the forest. The house and Erika are given the best recommendations.

We enjoyed our stay at Hege's place so much. The place is peacfully situated next to the lake where you can take a swim. The airbnb itself was clean and as described. Hege was friendly, helpful and always replyed quickly. We had a great time there.

We (a Danish family from Aarhus) had a lovely week at Elisabeth's amazing house. The weather was mixed, but it doesn't matter with a little rain when you live so nice ! There was everything inside and outside the house we needed. Close distance to Bø and shopping. Beautiful nature outside with short distance to e.g. Lifjell. We would love to come back another time, as our daughter and boyfriend are studying and staying in Bø.

We had a wonderful stay in Skien! The host was incredibly responsive, answering our questions swiftly and making sure we had everything we needed. Nice and spacious apartment, perfect for families with children. The apartment was well equipped. Ine had thought of everything. Fantastic nice garden for the kids to play in and for us adults to sit outside and enjoy the sun in the evening. Short road to the city center, shops and Sommerland in Bø. Nice host, easy check in, clean and nice apartment. Cozy with the cat Mao who came to greet us when we were in the garden, it was well accustomed to the kids, was sweet, kind and cuddly. We would like to rent from Ine the next time we go to Bø.
