Very nice place, would recommend. The home was clean and orderly and the neighborhood was pleasant. Supplies and their locations were clearly labeled and the house manual was comprehensive, including local recommendations. We had a little trouble on arrival because we weren't familiar with the key lock box. This was entirely due to arriving in the wee hours of the morning when it was dark. Once we figured it out, it was easy to operate day or night. If visiting downtown Aledo, the location is a bit of a walk, but we never had much trouble finding parking near downtown even during a large local festival. If we were to visit Aledo again, we would definitely try to book this location again.

This house was perfect for us! It was a central location and the basics were available. The house was fantastic and very comfortable. Lots of space to relax and comfortable beds and furniture. Lori truly thought of every detail! There was no "we wish they had..." here. Anything you can think of, was available at the house. We loved the quality, variety and cleanliness of all the kitchen items. Definitely better than the average air bnb. Thanks again for everything!

Cute Cottage on the Bay

Our family of six brought along our small dog for a day of hiking at Wildcat Den State Park. Kelly’s place was great! Cute cottage, plenty of room for all of us and a very comfortable stay! We loved having access to the bay and spent evenings fishing/hanging out on the beach. Would stay here again if we are back in the area. Very responsive, wonderful host!

The eat-in kitchen is a dream leading to the spacious family room with main floor laundry. Main floor master is located close to a HUGE main floor bathroom. Relax on the patio, enjoy the pristine landscaping. Close to shopping/restaurants in Aledo, IL. Come on in and feel like you're at home!

Amazing waterfront cottage on Stuergeon Bay. This is the perfect place for a weekend getaway or a longer stay. Spend time fishing, swimming, around the bonfire. Bring your own boat or jet ski lots of fun. The launch is about a mile down the road on the Mississippi. It's cozy and quiet, just a nice place to be. Sturgeon Bay is a backwater lake created by the Mississippi River. The water levels are controlled by the levels of the Mississippi. When low, there is more beach than water.
