We are nestled in the beautiful rolling countryside just between the city of Castelo Branco & Fundao. This beautiful yurt is situated right on the edge of our land. In a lovely peaceful space between the trees, with a view to the Gardunha mountain. We offer a double bed, small kitchenette with pots & pans, gas cooker, fridge with small freezer compartment, compost toilet, shower & wood for the log burner in colder months. Towels & linens provided. Discounts for weekly bookings.

Lagar da Vela

Old olive oil mill, recovered in 2005 and located in the village of Vela, Serra da Estrela region. It has maintained its identity, but now with decoration and a set of features that guarantee all the comforts. High-speed Wi-Fi (fiber), SmartTV with national and international channels and suitable for streaming services (Netflix, Disney+, ...), fully equipped kitchen, large living and dining room for groups of friends and/or family. The House is located in Ramela, a Portuguese parish in the municipality of Guarda with 218 inhabitants, composed of 4 attached villages: Aldeia Nova, Aldeia Ruiva, Serra da Borja and Dominga-Feia.

The house is located on a fenced farm. It overlooks a lake, a pine forest and the Serra da Estrela, in a natural setting of great beauty. It has the right amenities for a few quiet days, with air-conditioning and electric heating, a refrigerator, a microwave, a small induction stove, an electric coffee maker, a blender, a gas grill and another charcoal grill outside, and a coffee machine (Delta capsules).

Independent space on a farm 1.8 km from Guarda (Hospital) and a 5-minute drive from the city center. For nature lovers with the possibility of interacting with the deer (gamos) !!
