Lovely cosy cottage for one or two set on our little French farm in the beautiful and peaceful North Dordogne countryside. The cottage is nestled in 30 acres of fields and woodland where you can watch our many animals pottering around enjoying their sunny French retirement! We are halfway between the pretty villages of Mialet and Saint-Jory-de-Chalais which are well serviced with shops, bars, restaurants and boulangeries. Lakeside cabin with space for 1-4 people. This recently restored boathouse will give you a real switch off from the modern world feel, no tv or wifi to complicate things, just birdsong and views across the lake. Sleep up in the bedroom or on the extremely comfortable sofabed if climbing the stairs is not for you. Relax on the terrace, take a siesta in the hammock. Within 1hr of the Dordogne, numerous chateaux at 20 mins as well as some lovely local villages. Come and unwind.

It is a very complete, comfortable and spacious holiday home with many extras such as a heated pool, infrared sauna, fitness room, separate playroom/ relaxation room with table football and table tennis, a large luxury gas barbecue, jeu de boule court and playground equipment for the children. The house is detached and quietly located and has a nice large landscaped garden with two terraces. Thanks to the layout and the space, it is particularly suitable for 2 families (8p).

This peaceful home offers a relaxing stay for the whole family. It is in the middle of nature between the woods and fields at the end of a cul de sac road. Children, pets are safe. The walks in the forest in the fields are around the corner. You'll feel like you're at the end of the world but it's misleading, our closest city is 5 m away and we're also 5 m from the A20 highway. The house is ideal for a break or for a long stay.
