This beautiful cabin offers privacy, nature and canals on both sides, yet is only 1.5 miles (2.4km) from town and a 40 minute train ride to Amsterdam. This cabin was hand built with love & care and it is a pleasure to share it with guests from all around the world. House of 100 years old is under the mill and is cozy and cozy. A 5-minute walk will take you to the centre of Alkmaar. Rent a boat and see Alkmaar from the water. In the street behind the cottage is a beautiful, large playground the “OKB”. The bus stops in front of the door. Paid parking in the area and just across the house. Free parking is within walking distance. Downtown: a 5-minute walk away Beach: 30 min by bike/min 15 by car Two bicycles for use at the cottage.

't Achterend is a nice guest house in our North Holland farm, rural located in the village of Stroet, near the sea and forest... where the four-legged friend is also very welcome...Unfortunately, our apartment is not suitable for children, due to the ditch on the property. The dog fee is €30,- per dog per stay ! It is also possible to rent electric bicycles! (15,- per bike per day) Direct WiFi connection for working from home.
