Gorgeous, comfortable, lodge decor with huge windows. This superb log home is new and comfortably sleeps 6. Large upstairs loft has king bed, built-in closets and 24" TV. 2nd bedroom downstairs has a queen bed built-in closets and great views. Kitchen is fully appointed with GE "Slate" series appliances and everything you need. Great room with 52" 4K HD TV and access to your streaming accounts , FAST WIFI, gorgeous cozy wood stove for chilly nights. Nice bathroom & full size washer & Dryer

Located centrally right off the Parks highway between Wasilla and Palmer with an easy drive to Hatchers Pass, Crevasse Moraine hiking trails, Matanuska glacier and lakes, and more! Note-the two twin beds that make the king (can be separated) are upstairs in the loft. There is a futon couch downstairs that turns into a full size bed. The mattress has been upgraded on the futon so it’s a very comfy bed!

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Occasional moose sleep in the yard as additional guests. The legendary Valley wind rarely gets to this spot! The bike path is 100 yards away to Palmer or to the South Face of the Butte to climb. Longer stays available with cost savings, just ask. Booking window is opened up only 2 weeks ahead but ask for additional availability further ahead.
