Waterfront vacation rentals in McMurrich/Monteith

Absolutely beautiful location for a relaxing getaway. Quiet and serene sandy beach. Kayaks available as described and we thoroughly enjoyed taking in the views from the lake. Great place to take the opportunity to try out the SUP in the shallows of their sandy beach. Bev and Louise were welcoming and readily available to answer any questions. We truly appreciate our hosts for sharing their home to provide such a wonderful experience.

We were in town for a wedding and had a great stay at Michelle’s place. Great location in the heart of Port Carling but still private enough to relax on the large deck and enjoy the view of the water. Would definitely stay again.

We had a really nice and peaceful stay at Lynn’s. She kindly let us used some snowshoes which was a must to explore the snowy nearby trails. The sauna and jaccuzi were really appreciated to warm up after a day in the cold! Would like to come back in the summer or fall as it must be stunning as well!

A friend and I decided to head north for a quick night away. Taurean’s “King’s Den” apartment was the perfect choice! A gorgeous accommodation, filled with special little extras and attention to detail! We enjoyed our stay and will be back!

Great little place right in the heart of Port Carling. It was a great place to hang out after seeing the sights. Thanks Kelly we arrived after dark and found the lights on waiting for us, warm and even a little ambient music. After a day of travelling, perfect! thanks Kelly.

We had a wonderful stay with Catherine and Tom. The place was spotless and stocked with all the essentials for cooking, making it easy to feel at home. The location was perfect - just a short walk to the town dock and everything else we needed. Catherine and Tom were incredibly flexible and went out of their way to help us during some unexpected situations. They were generous, thoughtful, and always responsive to messages. Their local knowledge was invaluable, and they truly went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. We would highly recommend staying here! 10 out of 10!!

We stayed 3 nights and I must say it was exactly what we were hoping for. Very clean and had everything we needed and then some. We brought our boat, and docked it on their dock, prime location!! We enjoyed touring the lake and the river! Susan and Keith are wonderful people!! We made great memories, and will definitely be back!! Thank you so much!! 😊

We had a fantastic weekend staying at Gerard’s place! It was just as described from the pics and Gerard provided very clear instructions which made checking in seamless. The place was very clean, spacious, and right on the water! There was also a ton of things to do including kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, board games, a gym with weights as well as a fully stocked kitchen. We had a great time and would definitely come back again in the future!

The nortehaus was definitely an inspiring and well designed space we enjoyed. Nestled in the middle of nature, you can definitely feel the calmness and quietness of it all. Parker was responsive and made sure our stay was seamless. Would book again!

We had a lovely stay. The place was even nicer than we expected. This is the best air bnb we’ve ever had. It was really private and really clean, which was exactly what we were looking for. They provided so many little things which just added to the overall experience. Its the small things that go a long way. The place was really open concept and just really well furnished. Gave a fantastic vibe. The hot stub was clean, private and lovely. You wont be disappointed whatsoever here. Thank you for being a fantastic host Rebecca.

We absolutely loved our stay at Maya & Greg’s cottage. We spent the May long weekend here and loved the peaceful environment and beautiful surroundings. The cottage was exactly as pictured, there was lots to do, and the hosts were very friendly. Highly recommend!

Chelsea’s place was absolutely beautiful ! Upon walking in the house, the view of the water is breathtaking and did not get old each morning while sipping our coffees. The home itself was very homey, and a great wide open space for gathering with friends. Chelsea was super helpful when booking, made recommendations and was super responsive during our stay with any questions we had. I would highly recommend a stay here - can’t get much closer to being “on the lake”!

We had a great weekend at Gary's cottage. We loved hanging out on the deck and swimming in the lake. The cottage had everything for a weekend to relax and get together with some friends.

Beautiful, spacious and very comfortable. One of the most amazing views I've ever had at a cottage. So many windows that can open to let the beautiful sunshine and breeze in. Fans, AC and heat allowed for perfect temperature control.

We had a wonderful stay! Cottage was clean upon arrival with easy access. There were lots of activities to keep busy both indoor and outdoors. Lots of space to enjoy within the cottage as well. We especially enjoyed the hot tub during a cooler day!

Had a fantastic stay here! Looked exactly like the photos and had everything we needed. Christina was an excellent host, very quick responses and made sure we had everything we needed. Gorgeous property on a gorgeous lake. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay in Huntsville, close to the lake and provincial park with lots of winter activities. Igor was very helpful and accomodating.

The condo had recently been remodeled. There was excellent lighting throughout the unit. The bathroom had ample space with a good shower and fixtures that worked well. The beds were comfortable, with good bedding and linens. The kitchen was well stocked with usable items. All the appliances worked well. The view through the trees to the lake was lovely.

Absolutely amazing stay! The place was right by the water and the views were stunning. Everything was clean, comfortable, and just as described. The atmosphere was peaceful, and the whole experience exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend — I’d love to come back!

A very friendly and responsive host. The instructions to get inside were clear and easy to follow. The host provided a list of amenities nearby of things to do.

A wonderful spot with every convenient considered! The espresso machine might have been the highlight of my trip. The beach is very nice and close. The king bed is a very firm spring mattress, so something to consider if that is important to you.

It was such a great experience staying at this place. Maja and Neno are great hosts - the instructions are clear and it’s easy to find the suite even when it’s dark. They also share local recommendations (there is puppy yoga!) :) the place is an amazing getaway from the busy and noisy city life. In clear days you can see so many stars in the sky from the porch. It’s also so close to Algonquin so I can totally imagine it being super busy during maple leaf seasons. I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting this area. Jocelyn was an excellent host. She responded to our inquiries quickly and was very helpful. The condo was well equipped, and clean. The condo had all the amenities of home. It was an enjoyable and comfortable stay. We would not hesitate to book again. Highly recommend this condo. Catherine Rudisi.

Quiet location overlooking a stunning lake which we managed to have a swim in (end of May) . Bed super comfy . Sofa bed ok . Car needed to get to restaurants etc but good cooking facilities as an option. Highly recommend a trip to Algonquin park and delighted to spot a moose !
