This is a unique rustic cabin on a private dirt road nestled on a mountain brook in the forest adjoining the Giant Mountain Wilderness Area. This small (200 sq ft + 80 sq ft sleeping loft), Adirondack style cabin was completely refurbished this past year using locally sourced woods and built by hand. Located two miles from downtown Keene Valley, and at 1800 feet, this is an ideal place for those who prefer the quiet forest, the peaceful sound of a mountain brook, and possibily seeing animals.

Large, private screened porch; Tempurpedic queen bed; full kitchen, big LR & cozy recliners. We now have covered parking for one car! We are only 20 minutes from Whiteface ski area and nearby hiking and mountain biking trails as well as lakes and rivers for swimming and paddling. There are trails on the property for walking and snowshoeing.

Third floor non smoking apartment . The kitchenette contains a microwave, small refrigerator, toaster oven,Keurig coffee maker. Private bathroom, off street parking for one vehicle only. Additional vehicles must be parked in the village lot. Walk to downtown,10 miles to Lake Placid, plenty of outdoor recreation such as hiking and kayaking nearby. We are 5 minutes from Saranac Lake, 10 Minutes from Lake Placid, and 25 minutes from Whiteface. Located on a peninsula of Oseetah Lake, we have waterfront access perfect for ice skating, snowshoeing and XC skiing in the winter right from our doorstep. The lake offers sweeping views of Ampersand and the surrounding mountains.
