The River House

Come escape the pressures of everyday life at this cozy relaxing cottage along the Susquehanna river. Windows galore which allow the beauty of the river to be enjoyed from the entire house. Open floor concept with two bedrooms on an upper landing, and a large bathroom. Exposed beams, hardwood floors, granite/butcher block countertops, walk-in shower, claw foot tub, I could keep going. Enjoy the wonderful wildlife which include bald eagles, osprey, beavers, ducks and many more. If you’re hungry, you can order delicious pizza from a real Sicilian in town or fine dine at the Accomac Inn which is just a 5 minute walk down river. Perfect road for a walk, run, or bike ride. This place is truly a relaxing home away from the everyday hustle. Please come enjoy. Close to major highways and sits between Lancaster and York (20 minute drives).

Experience a part of early Marietta history in this 1807 "Yellow House" that was expanded and newly updated to offer the charm of its log home. TRAINS!!!!Across the street is a freight train line service. The trains are random at all hours. They are briefly loud. This listing may not be for you if you are a light sleeper or have a low tolerance for brief loud trains. Otherwise this a lovely space situated along the Susquehanna with a hike/bike trail.
