Great place to stay in Mavrovo area! Quiet and peaceful village in the mountains, responsive and attentive hosts and tasty homemade food- overall nice experience! Kate’s grandparents speak just a little English, but they were so friendly that it wasn’t problem at all! Felt like home!

This is a charming, rustic house by the lake. Great location for Mavrovi Anovi village and superb views over the lake. Dean was a brilliant host and couldn't have done any more to make our stay special.

A cozy living area features a green sectional sofa adorned with decorative pillows. A small wooden coffee table sits at the center, complemented by three red candles. Large windows allow for natural light and showcase views of snow-covered trees outside.

We really enjoyed our stay at CECE’s villa. The location is stunning – with a breathtaking view of the lake that we loved waking up to every morning. The house is simply and nicely furnished, just what we were looking for in a relaxing getaway. CECE and her husband were incredibly friendly, responded very quickly to messages, and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended!

The hosts were very interested. Everything was as advertised. Just get all your needs from the grocery store before you get there because there aren't many options for shopping there. There were a lot of dogs around, if you're not afraid, it's okay because they were friendly dogs.

Beautiful place. Amazing views of the lake from the balcony, the house also backs onto the Mavrovo National Park forest. The house was comfortable and well equipped. Davor was very friendly and helpful. Thank you!

Very nice villa. I'd love to come back. Everything stylishly decorated. Nice receptionist. Just a pity, it didn't have much hot water to fill the whirlpool. Was too cold to use it. Otherwise very satisfied

Simon was a great host! His house was fully stocked and heated when we arrived in the evening. The fireplace is great at heating the entire house, but there are also individual heaters for every room. The house is not at all far from the ski resort and even if you don't want to ski there are lots of beautiful and scenic walks in the area. I highly recommend renting out this house if you and a family or friends want to have a great place to rest while enjoying the natural beauty of Mavrovo.

The hosts stay in the house next door. They are very nice and humble people. They took us for a ride and showed us interesting places like waterfalls. They even did our laundry. The accomodation was clean and super cosy. We felt like at home. I love it here and I hope to come back here one day.

Ren Villas Mavrovo

We had a 3night stay to explore the area and the location for us was ideal to explore the National park to the south, south of the lake and Ohrid. Lake access over the road was great with the kids to throw stones. Simple things! All as described and informative host. Thank you for our stay :-)
