The apartment is in the small district of Karsau, which belongs to Rheinfelden (Baden). In an almost 200-year-old farmhouse overlooking our farm animals (horses/sheep/cat/dog/chickens) you can relax wonderfully. Basel can be reached in 20 minutes by car/train. Beuggen train station is within walking distance (1.5 km). Right next door is a children's playground and the forest with beautiful walking and cycling trails is a few minutes' walk away. A spacious outdoor seating area by the pond invites you to relax. 5-minute walk to the train station or to the Rhine bank 10-minute walk to the supermarket / bakery 15-minute walk to the outdoor swimming pool Quietly located and close to Switzerland and France. By car, you can reach Bad Säckingen, Wehr or Rheinfelden (D&CH) in 10 minutes and within 15 minutes to Schopfheim. Basel is accessible within about 25 minutes by car.

Schallbach is a quiet village with fast connections to Basel – ideal for guests who want to be close to the city while enjoying the peace of the countryside. Shops, hiking trails, and restaurants are easily accessible in the surrounding area.

Pfaffenberg is a small village at 700 meters above sea level above the Wiesen Valley with proximity to Switzerland and France. Our Black Forest house with a south-facing location offers up to three guests a cozy stay. The border triangle allows a variety of cultural and sporting leisure activities. I have traveled a lot myself, speak good German, English, French, Spanish and a little Italian and am always very happy about guests from near and far.

The apartment has a separate entrance, a spacious and cozy bedroom with double bed and a workspace, a living room with pull-out sofa bed, and a fully equipped kitchen with capsule coffee machine, kettle and toaster, and a bathroom with rain shower and a washer-dryer.

The nearest S-Bahn station can be reached in just 250m to take city tours to Basel or Freiburg. A supermarket is only 450m away. Zentral, ziemlich in der Mitte vom Landkreis Lörrach. 25 Minuten mit dem Auto in die Schweiz, 25 Minuten nach Frankreich, 30 Minuten zum Euro-Airport Basel-Mulhouse.
