Vacation rentals in Mathottam

I had such an amazing stay.. the place is located on the beach.. the sea is like a warm bath... fantastic outdoor spaces that are private and relaxed..and focused on one of the most beautiful trees I have ever sat under.. it was a magical room in itself.. Sachin the host is such a giving soul who went way above what i expected to make my stay such a memorable one... he has such a great knowledge of the local area, a true blessing... I can't wait for my return and will be recommending to all my friends.

La famille est très gentille, la nourriture qu’ils cuisinent est très bonne. Ils ont développé un centre pour prendre soin des ânes et aussi des écoles, une belle initiative ! Merci pour l’accueil nous serons heureux de revenir ! À bientôt

A wonderful experience. The host family and all the staff are so friendly and kind. The property is beautiful, and it's easy to get around by public transport. Communication was superb. The food was delicious!

Nous avons été accueillis par une famille adorable ! De vraies bonnes personnes et une cuisinière excellente 🤩 ! La chambre est très très propre et les lits confortables (ventilateurs au plafond) avec une petite kitchenette. Je recommande fortement !

We hebben genoten van onze twee nachten bij de farm of Nambikay. De communicatie verliep uitstekend, zelfs in het Nederlands met tips en betrokkenheid (wat we altijd enorm waarderen). De locatie/omgeving is prachtig. Het gebouw heeft een ruime en fijne keuken waar we zelf konden koken, aangezien je er wat verder weg van restaurants vandaan zit. Alle voorzieningen aanwezig, van spelletjes tot aan gefilterd water. Fijne slaapkamer en badkamer. Gezien de hitte zou een airco misschien een suggestie zijn, maar we wisten van tevoren dat er alleen een ventilator was. Die we overigens enorm waardeerden;) Gelukkig was de slaapkamer wat koeler dan de overige kamers. Al met al een fijn verblijf op een hele bijzondere plek!

We had an absolutely phenomenal time staying at the Palmyra House. It truly beautiful location, the staff were super friendly and incredibly helpful! We would absolutely recommend this to anybody travelling to Mannar.

We werden eerst ontvangen door een dame van de boerderij. Even later kwam een van de beheerders. Zij bracht alvast het door ons gevraagde ontbijt met een paar limonades en fruit. We spraken een tijd af voor het avondeten. Ook dat bezorgde zij, heerlijk en overvloedig. Verder konden we een lekkere avondwandeling maken langs de giant tank.
