Vacation rentals with lake access in Mason County

This house is just an 8 min walk or 2 min bike ride to the beach. We used our bikes to get everywhere and didn’t even need our car for the weekend. The house was clean and spacious. Even though it is only 3 bedrooms, it Had plenty of sleeping spaces. We loved the ping pong table in the garage. The host was responsive before and during our trip and quickly answered all our questions. Great air b, we had 0 complaints and would 100% stay here again.

My family and I selected Ellie’s house for fall break. We were seeking a destination that would help us recharge, relax and recoup. The setting of this home is so beautiful and relaxing. The back patio is perched above the picturesque Lake Hamlin. The house is equipped with many windows to help you enjoy the view from inside as well. We found just what we were looking for. I must give Ellie the highest compliment possible for her care, responsiveness, and friendliness. We had all needs met and she communicated very well before and during our stay. We would like to come back again someday! My family gives this home a 5/5.

If you’re looking to get away from it all, this is the perfect opportunity. This cottage will allow you to enjoy a no stress vacation. We had 7 over 60 women in in our group. It is a large place with tons of beds. All stairs had railings on them. Bathrooms did not have railings which made it difficult for some of us. Also there was no outside lighting which made it difficult for some of us. The lake was nice to swim in and the large umbrella near the beach was very nice to have. We enjoyed a beautiful campfire. Al in all it’s a perfect place for a vacation but might need a few tweaks for seniors 😀

What a great place! We went at the end of March which is off season and is questionable weather for Michigan, though nothing was questionable in our stay. The house is very comfortable and welcoming and has had wonderful renovations. Location is perfect, and you can see Lake MIchigan, the beach, pier and lighthouse from the house. The amenities are ideal with a nicely stocked kitchen, and plenty of sitting areas to accommodate all our guest while still having private and quiet sleeping areas. A fantastic place to gather Family and/or Friends. Thank you

Great place to stay for a few days in Ludington! It was within 15 minutes of walking downtown and right across from Stearns Beach. We loved watching the sunset every night.

Great area of town, walkable to beach and restaurants.

The perfect location for beach, biking, and shops. everything was exactly as described and Ben was very responsive to our questions. We only stayed one night, but we were happy to have chosen this location.

As always the place is beautiful , clean and well managed. Ben is communicative and friendly as well as the staff that help out. If you’re looking for a place close to the beach with easy access to food, parks and the outdoors this is the place.

What can I say. The whole experience was great. The location is awesome. The place was spotless and had everything you needed to feel right at home. The owners are awesome and extremely easy to work with. I 100% will be staying again.

Ben communicated clearly as needed to check in and for the stay. We didn't really need anything more from him - we had all the information and everything else that we needed during our stay. The place was very clean and had everything we'd expect, plus, what we hadn't really expected was how incredible the location was. It was right across from the beach and a lighthouse at the end of a jetty - beautiful! All the restaurants were also within walking distance. Would have been nice to stay longer to do more exploring of the area and also of the eateries. It was too cold to enjoy the beautiful clean fresh Lake Michigan - right at our doorstep (just about), so we'll need to come back when the weather is warmer. The Ludington Beach House hosted by Ben will be our first choice!

Our cottage met our needs and provided the getaway experience we were looking for. Mollie is an excellent communicator and very helpful. The cottage is beautifully remodeled and tastefully done. It was wonderful to be able to have our boat on site. Great access to Hamlin Lake on a beautiful cove.

very beautiful escape, no regrets and well worth the stay. I would most definitely return. Mostly loved the sound of the waves clashing against each other the whole day especially in the morning while drinking coffee overseeing Lake Michigan.

What a great place to stay! We enjoyed the location, the home and of course the closeness to the outlet where our small children enjoyed the warmer, shallower water. This was our second time to this area and it just fits our needs so perfectly. The home was clean and had all the essentials for our few days away! Would recommend to anyone wanting to visit!

this place was a perfect little cottage! It was very peaceful and friendly neighbors! I loved sitting on the front porch and enjoy the weather and just relax! It was exactly what I needed!

Great cabin with an incredible view

This was our second time staying at Mandy’s place and it was great! Fishing was good, weather was great…we’ll be back!

We loved staying on Vacation Lane! What a quiet, sweet little neighborhood right on the water. the beds were comfy and everything was clean and cozy. We especially loved putting our paddle boards in to Lake Hamlin and floating around, looking at fish and birds. Stix is really close and was our favorite place to eat. We'd love to come back again! Great spot, just as advertised and the location was amazing. Adam’s instructions were detailed and spot on. We’ll be back next summer.
