A small seaside house where you can stay quietly in a village surrounded by the sea and the mountains "SOTOHAMA house"

"Sotohama house" is located in the Yoshino district of the Mitsuzu Peninsula, a famous spot on the Sunset that is known as the best of Shodoshima, in the Yoshino district of the Suntu Peninsula. The room is an entire maisonette type per day.The landlord lives in the adjacent Heike, so we are available if you need anything. We are currently preparing another room.It is connected by a locked door separating the sunroom from the room you are preparing, but it is a private space to enter and exit through a private entrance. Shower booth, toilet with washlet, and simple kitchenette.We also have terrace seating in the garden. The Yoshino area is about a 7-minute drive from Ikeda Port, where there is a ferry to Takamatsu. The city is well separated, making it a quiet, small settlement with old-fashioned scenery in Setouchi.Yoshino, with its mountains and the sea back to back, is a beautiful neighborhood that is also popular with migrants in recent years. It is a 10-second walk to Yoshino Beach in front of the sight.If the weather is nice, you can watch the sunset all year round.Watch the sunset on the pier that stretches out to the sea while you spend your trip. I'm currently a host while raising a 0-year-old child.We may respond unattended, such as check-in and information about the room.Please understand before making a reservation.

I am an Artist / Photographer born in Kyoto This house used to be one big guest house, but since this Covid19, I have stopped running the guest house and I started to live here with my wife and 2 kids. However I didn't want to quit so I left the good part. Private cypress bath and renovated rooms and made another entrance for the Guests. So now it is 2 separate house Please check the concept, The slope in front of the house is hard. There is stairs to go up, check online map before you book.

Our guesthouse is in a beautiful mountain village, near to it are pristine forests with beech trees and an ancient mountain path that was used to carry sea products from Japan sea to Kyoto in old days. In front of the guesthouse runs a stream that is a source of Lake Biwa and its water is crystal clear ; in early summer nights many fireflies fly over the stream. In winter, we have a lot of snow ; sometimes it reaches 2 meters from the ground! On clear nights you can enjoy the sky full of stars.
