Cottage vacation rentals in Martha's Vineyard

There was nothing that hasn't been thought of to accommodate anyone that stays there. The fenced in yard was a bonus especially for our Border Collies. The beach was just a short walk, it was beautiful!

The cottage was so cute and so dog friendly. The neighborhood was really pleasant for us and our furry friends. Laura was very prompt and kind when answering any of our queries. And her recommendations were very helpful. We explored the cape and had a wonderful time. Thank you so much Laura

I recently booked this lovely cottage on West Island in Massachusetts for a weekend getaway with my mother to celebrate her 80th birthday. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and comfortable. The cottage was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully equipped for a relaxing stay. Greg is a gracious and considerate host. He provided helpful suggestions for nearby walks and accessible ways to enjoy the beach—especially thoughtful given my mother's limited mobility. The surrounding area is peaceful and quiet, perfect for unwinding. The neighborhood is residential and the neighbors we encountered were friendly and kind. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this cottage again. It was a perfect setting for a special weekend.

Adorable cottage, nice lay out, very clean with all of the comforts of home, a dishwasher, brand new stove, nice size fridge with ice maker. This cottage has a private backyard with grill and new teak patio set and lounge chairs for relaxing and soaking up the sun, the window boxes are a nice touch to add to the cottage charm! Beautiful location near 2 very nice beaches, peaceful neighborhood near the Cape Cod Canal for morning or afternoon walks and bike rides. Great restaurants close by, The Lobster Trap and Trading Post lounge are my favorites, also a great little store right down the street, Gray Gables Market has everything you would need for your stay. We loved our stay, can’t wait to visit again!

We had a great stay at Blue Anchor, our first Airbnb stay. The house is neat and clean and host had thought of everything one might need right down to a well equipped kitchen with a selection of spices. Sandwich was a great home base for the exploring we wanted to do. The surroundings are attractive and peaceful, very quiet and tucked away. The bed was comfortable and that’s much appreciated after days of on-the-go enjoying the Cape. We used and enjoyed the grill and the hot tub. Tv, WiFi, all good. We appreciated the excellent communication, and friendliness. It was great to have our two small dogs along for vacation. We’d highly recommend Blue Anchor and would love to return.

Cute spot! Loved the ease to the water! Got in first night and they even had the light on for us. Close to anything you need!! Perfect for a Mother’s Day get anyway for me and my three girls! Fished/boated/swam and had a great time! Van was willing to accommodate a late check out for. Decent price, although we ended up heading out on time I was grateful for this! Can’t wait to go back! Thanks Van and Family!!!

The cottage was beautiful and in a perfect location! We loved walking to the beach and the cottage’s close proximity to so many good cafes and restaurants. The house had everything we would need. Loved the backyard too and it was very clean and cozy!

My family and I stayed at Arina's home for 10 days in June, 2025, and we had an amazing time. We loved the private fenced-in backyard and spent many afternoons/evenings outside grilling and just relaxing there. We also appreciated the house's proximity to downtown Vineyard Haven, we walked there almost every day.

Exactly as described... And Sloane was incredibly proactive. The community had a water outage the morning we were due to check in and she contacted us immediately -- it was completely resolved before we checked in and she stayed on top of everything for us. Highly recommend visiting this cottage! Thank you, Sloane!

Chris was a great host. Everything was as it was discribed. He was quick yo respond and offer any information about the area and home if needed. Very quiet relaxing atea worth every bit of the price of the stay. Hope yo stay again next time Im up for work

I loved Haley's cottage! Clean, cheerful, and very inviting! The location is very walkable and easily accessible for trails in the area. I plan to book Haley's cottage the next time i am visiting Cape Cod!

Very enjoyable stay. Home was comfortable,clean and centrally located. Easy walk to a variety of waterfront restaurants.

Steven & Laura’s home was peaceful and exactly as described. We had an easy time with check-in/check-out with their easy to follow printed instructions which also had some local recommendations! We had the opportunity to try a few along with exploring the island and having some cool finds during our stay.

We did a long term stay at Allyson’s and she was an amazing host. Very responsive and friendly. The place is clean,has a great layout, good value, and has a very centralized location. I hope we have the opportunity to stay there again in the future!

Great host. Great location. This is a getaway, but easy in and out on and off the island and great access to beaches. Ferry is easy on and off and Pete was great with communication and very helpful.

Tyler was a great host, clear and immediate communications, helpful advice, and friendly accommodation of a late check out. The place is beautiful, super clean and tidy, and feels very fresh. The backyard is adorable, and the surroundings are truly serene. Would love to stay there again on our next visit.

We had a wonderful stay at Elaine’s home! It was the perfect retreat for our family of four. The location is stunning—peaceful, private, and surrounded by natural beauty. The house was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped for a relaxing week. Elaine was a fantastic host: warm, responsive, and welcoming from start to finish. She made us feel like family. We left feeling refreshed and grateful for such a lovely experience. We will be back!

I am so glad I found Judy’s AirBnB when searching for accommodations in Cape Cod! Her home is beautiful, but what really stood out was her proactive communication and clear investment that we had a wonderful trip. We took advantage of many of Judy’s local recommendations for things to do in Cape Cod and had the best trip.

The house is lovely! The yard is the real star here, and the location is fantastic. The only small things I would comment on are providing your own linens (not ideal) and no coffee or anything to last a day upon arrival. But overall, I would recommend it for a nice stay on the island!

This is our second year in a row staying here and this house and these hosts are the reason we came back! Cutest house in the best location , walkable to down town edgartown and within short driving distance to vineyard haven and oaks bluff. The house is perfect and has all the amenities you need with a super cozy living room. Both bedrooms are really comfortable . The outdoor shower is perrrrfect! The porch and yard are sun filled and leave so much room for relaxing . Tim and Alicia are incredibly responsive and answered all of our questions right away , were so sweet and proactively reached out to us with recommendations. Really can’t recommend this place enough!

beautiful home. beautiful, peaceful area. definitely need a car as the house is in a rural area. The dishes in the cabinet were dirty and there were dishes left in the dishwasher when we arrived... Not a huge issue we would have washed anything before using anyway. all in an all a beautiful space.
