Herons is totally unique, a beautiful detached lodge situated on the banks of the River Thames. Beautiful interiors and the views are simply wonderful from sunrise to sunset. Herons is the perfect place to unwind and relax, just sit and watch the wildlife and the boats milling along the river. Nearby are the Thames Market towns of Wallingford, Henley and Abingdon and the beautiful surrounding countryside.The historic city of Oxford is only 8 miles away and Bicester Village is a 30 minute drive.

A peaceful place. It’s cosy and bright. Convenient double bedroom flat. Offering you comfortable living. Entering the flat you can find kitchen with all appliances, table with 2 chairs. Toilet and shower room. The bedroom includes double bed and relax area with sofa and TV. The flat is located on the right side our house with key safe. All set just minutes away by foot for grocery shops and bus stops. Upstairs is accessible via a spiral stairs so not recommended for small children or elderly.

We are situated right on the edge of the village; no where near busy roads so it’s blissfully quiet - just the sheep in the field and the church bells. We have some lovely pubs and a great farm shop selling local produce. And Oxford is only 15 mins away!

Very spacious and an ideal place to come and relax for a romantic countryside break. Fantastic pub just 50m from the doorstep that serves food most days (please check) but there is a very well equipped kitchen should you like to cook for yourselves. Our newly renovated self contained studio is attached to our home and is situated on the outskirts of the picturesque village of clifton Hampden. We are a five minute walk from the Thames footpath which is perfect for enjoying this beautiful stretch of the river either towards Wallingford or Oxford. The studio has an equipped kitchen area and separate shower room. There is parking and the studio has its own separate entrance. The decor is modern and clean with a cosy ambiance.

It was great. Bhumika even made arrangements for me to be able to check in because I was late in arriving on my first day. The room was clean, comfortable, right next to the bathroom (also squeaky clean and very comfortable). This was a nice, respectful and friendly family home, and there was little to no noise. It was easy to find and I enjoyed the fact it was super close to the bus stop on Dashwood Road.

We booked after another host cancelled. It was a good choice. Catherine is welcoming and you wouldn't know she is there unless you need something. Great location as there is a bus stop 100 meters away and it takes about 20 min to get to the centre, covered market, and colleges. Nice room, clean and quiet. Would recommend
