Vacation rentals with lake access in Marsa Matrouh Governorate

The house was great right on the lagoon. It was very clean, well equipped and pretty new. Ismail was very responsive and communicated clearly. Overall the stay was perfect and we’ll definitely be back again!

A perfect stay. Amazing villa for which the pictures don’t do justice. It’s huge with a great pool and lots of games/amenities to keep you and the family entertained and well cared for. Mahmoud is super responsive, helpful and can provide everything you need including cleaner, cook, transportation, excursions, restaurant/sightseeing recommendations all at exceptional prices. He even spent one hour negotiating at a hair salon (for the missus and daughters) to ensure that I, as a non Egyptian, was not overpaying. I’ve stayed at hundreds of Airbnbs as I travel a lot (including a lot in dubai) and I can honestly say that Mahmoud was the most genuine, sincere and kind host I have met to date. Thank you Mahmoud!

Very clean and wonderful place with all the amenities you need and more. Hanan was very helpful with everything and very respectful and helpful. One of the best places I’ve stayed at for a while. Highly recommend!

I can’t begin to explain how Dr. Sameh was helpful and kept checking in making sure we have everything we need. Recommended a lot of great places to go to. He passed my and had a lovely chat with him. I never had experienced such an amazing way of communications. Thank you for everything Sameh. You made us feel like home away from home. Ahmed and his wife Mena were great hosts, communication was super from day 1 of booking until checkout. They made sure everything was perfect on arrival and were very responsive throughout the stay. They were so keen to make us have a smooth process and a great experience, which we did. They have a beautiful, clean and spacious place with great amenities, even better than photos, and the surrounding community is great. They even recommended surrounding stores for food, groceries and other services. It’s a perfect destination for summer in Egypt. Would definitely love to come back again!

My stay was very pleasant, the place looked better than the photos ( The garden has a nice dinning table and bean bags ), the place also had games and toys for us to play with like rackets and UNO. The host Naniss was very proactive and very friendly she told us daily about local activities and restaurants, overall it couldn’t be better, highly recommended :)

Lamis was extremely pleasant to rent from. She is very communicative and was ready to help anytime needed. We enjoyed the lagoon and garden area, as well as the beach and amenities. It is a little farther from the beach in the complex but there are buses inside or you can take your car a few minutes to the parking lot for the beach. I would come stay again! Thank you 🙏

We enjoyed staying at the property, it matched the photos and looked great. Everything was working perfectly. The only problem is that you still have to pay everyday to get access to the beach.

Shereen’s place was spacious , well decorated with fully equipped kitchen. Located between 2 lagoons at a walkable distance and not so far from the crystal clear beach. We really enjoyed using , our only regret is we did not book it long enough. Thanks Shereen for sharing your home with us

I had an absolutely amazing stay! The location couldn’t be better, everything you need is just steps away. The Airbnb was spotless and well maintained, creating a truly comfortable environment. The host was incredibly helpful and responsive, making the whole experience even better. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

The place was very clean and cozy. It overlooked the lagoon and had an entrance right next to it. When we arrived it was clean and stocked with everything we might need during our stay. Maha was an excellent host and a pleasure to deal with. We will definitely be coming back!

Fouka bay is a unique setting located on a natural salt water pool that you can easily enter from the property. The property is sufficient for a single or family with in-laws. The impeccable view of the lagoon cannot be beat. At night it’s incredibly peaceful. All the rooms have A/C and the property more or less has everything you need. Mr. Fiky, the gracious host, was responsive, kind, and helpful. We will definitely consider his property in the future. Many resorts along the Sahel (Mediterranean) require a vehicle to get around, however, you do not need a vehicle to get around. A regular bus service that runs late into the night can takes 5 minutes to get to the beach. It stop right in front of a grocery store (Grab n Go), which has most of everything you would need for your stay, and many restaurants along the boardwalk .

A lovely spot. Dont expect luxury but expect that you will find your basic needs. A very accomodating and hospitable host. The appartment is ocean facing however it is a beach you cannot swim in due to the rocks and high waves, not sure if I missed it on the listing but havent noticed it mentioned. There is a large salty pool which made up for the no ocean swimming. There is a small supermarket with basics however you need to do your shopping 15 mins away by car. The unit is tight, if you are a clumsy person (like me) you can easily knock something off the stove while washing the dishes. Overall highly recommended if you are looking for some quality and peaceful time.

Rana is an excellent host Super friendly and went the extra mile to make sure the house had all we needed from clean towels to bed sheets to snacks and a full water cooler Everything was great and the place looked even better than the pictures
