Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Marion

We are returning visitors to the Farmhouse. Jessica is an excellent hostess and provides a lovely place to stay. We highly recommend staying there.

We stayed here while in town for a family graduation and it was a perfect spot to rest in between celebrations. The space was clean and comfortable, and the host was quick to respond to any questions we had. Great experience overall. Thanks Amanda for being a great host.

Beautiful country setting with lots to do on the property for my adult family of 5. The pool table, hot tub, and fire pit were wonderful!! We were just minutes away from dinner and a grocery store. We were just 20 minutes from hiking at the Garden of the Gods. We landed at Kevin's after a 4 day, 3 night back country hike and could not have been more comfortable! It was a wonderful place to relax and recharge.

Good spot to experience southern IL for a weekend! Quiet neighborhood and easy to get around to other towns. Lia was very responsive and helpful in planning and while on site. Two bedrooms on the same level with a shared bathroom was convenient for our little family!

We had a great stay! This property worked perfectly for us- Two of us are birders and the country setting was ideal for us. Roomy kitchen and big table were great for a few family dinners while we were there. The back porch is wonderful for morning coffee overlooking a small pond - and evenings, too as the quiet sets in. As it is part of a working farm, we really enjoyed the nearby company of cattle. Initially I was a little concerned that the property is outside of town, but it proved to be the best part. So pretty and quiet and an easy, 15 minute drive to town. Rosemary was a great hostess- Friendly and responsive! Loved it!

Tim and Melissa's place was very clean and comfortable. The surroundings were quiet and peaceful. All the hiking where we wanted to go was an easy drive from their place. We will definitely be staying here again, if we want to come back to the Shawnee.

Tammy was fantastic and kind. The place was great for a weekend of turkey hunting and close enough to get to the city to shop and find other things to do as well. We would stay again.

It was the best day the couple was so wonderful to me and my family. I would say there again.

This was a really nice place to stay. Quiet. Easy to get in and out. Close to the lake and things you may need in town. The inside was neat , packed with cute little car things. It would be perfect for a smaller family. It was a little tight with our big family but we still made it work ! They have just about everything you would need . Very convenient. The host was amazing, answered quickly and very friendly. 10/10 I would recommend staying here

It was a great private location surrounded by nature, close to restaurants. A very beautiful stay and it felt like home. The hostess was very kind and understanding when our dog had an accident. We had such an amazing time.

Ashley and her lakefront rental were both amazing! She made check in and out so seamless and easy , place was juys wayt we needed As makanda girl I really enjoyed the peaceful private yet safe neighborhood feel a lot It was wonderful to sit on that bench and watch the sunset over the lake and was so serene Hope to stay there again sometime Ashley was great

Anna's listing was just as described. Nice place out of town. Anna was very friendly and responsive. She worked with me on entrance due to a funeral; which I greatly appreciated!

This hideout is what you need to get away from it all. We spent our nights around the fire at peace, just listening to nature. The hideout is cozy & tidy with everything you need, even pet friendly items which was a plus ! We checked out Rebecca’s food rec ( shotgun eddys) after our Hike & the food was delicious!! Def a hidden gem in the area. Thank you for everything Rebecca The hospitality was 10/10. Ps. The snacks came in super clutch during our hike!!

Enjoyed the stay for the weekend. Had 2 trucks one pulling a boat and one pulling 2 jet skis and had plenty of room to park. Bedroom has 4 twin size beds and one full sized bed along with a big sectional. Had pots and pans so we could cook. Nice place to stay overall would recommend to a friend

My husband I stayed at Linda’s adorable place on a cross-country move. We had driven 13 hours when we arrived and maps delivered us easily. The cottage (best word I can use to describe) was clean and filled with adorable vintage artistic items. My exhausted husband was willing to head into Carbondale for pizza and it was an easy trip there and back (16 mins. Each way). This was a wonderful oasis for us on our journey.

Jess’s cabin was the perfect weekend getaway for my husband and I. Everything was as described and very clean. It was well stocked with everything we needed. The cabin feels secluded and the hot tub was a great addition! The cabin is also in close proximity to several wineries. Jess was very responsive. We had a relaxing weekend and will definitely be back!

This is a perfect little cottage near the lake. It had everything we needed, including nice outdoor patio spaces for eating and a big firepit. You can't see much of the lake from the cottage, but it's easy to get to - across a quiet road and down a very long flight of stairs. There's a nice big dock for fishing, swimming, star gazing at night, boating, and just relaxing and enjoying the view (it's a particularly scenic section of the lake because there is no development on the other side of the water - just forest!). We loved having access to kayaks and enjoyed fishing off the dock. Would love to return in summer when we can swim and do even more water activities!

We were surprised by the amenities and care that Mary took to get the place ready for our stay. She had all the essentials in case you missed packing something and more. She was very responsive when we asked for dinner recommendations. The cabin is right at the entrance to Godwin trail and 1.5 miles from the cross. It is walking distance to the cross as well.

We absolutely loved this stay. It’s in the middle of wine trails and we don’t love wine but we found some off the beaten path bourbon stops. Havisham. And the Bourbon rail that are worth the mention. The place is so cozy and clean. It was perfect for our quiet close to home get away.

It’s was a great little get away! Gloria was very responsive with all our questions. The date we had originally booked for, the area was due to get some major flooding. When we voiced our concerns, Gloria was very understanding and let us change our weekend. The cabin was very cozy. The deck to the side of the cabin was nice for reading in the morning. It wasn’t too far from hiking trails. Gloria even let us know of an event happening in the town near the cabin. Which we did venture over too and did a little exploring! Overall, it was a great get away.

Our group has stayed at Jim’s place for four years now. Jim is always hospitable, the lodge is always very clean, and has all the listed amenities. The beautiful surroundings make our weekend very special, quaint, and relaxing. We are able to cook efficiently. We are hopeful to be back next year.

Had a great weekend at the cabin! It was perfect for the 3 couples. We did some of the Shawnee wine trail and then enjoyed the other amenities, playing board games and relaxing by the peaceful campfire. It's a great location, only 6 minutes from a Walmart but when you are at the cabin, no other homes are in sight. Would love to book again!
