Stayed here for a gig at Dreamland . Very handy to walk and lots of bars and restaurants on the way. The complimentary fizz in the fridge got our evening off to a great start.

We had such a lovely stay at Sophie’s home. It’s in a fantastic location - just a short stroll from Old Town, yet tucked away in a peaceful, quiet spot. There’s even a Morrisons just around the corner, which is super handy if you feel like cooking, and plenty of charming delis in town to explore. The space itself is cosy, welcoming, and much more spacious than we expected, with beautiful interior touches that make it feel like a true home away from home. The kitchen has everything you need, which was perfect for a few home-cooked meals. Sophie was an exceptional host - so helpful and responsive both before and during our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone visiting the area. Thank you, Sophie!

We absolutely love staying at Tim’s! Such a gorgeous flat, so much bigger than we expected it to be. The bed was particularly comfy and everything was very clean. Check in was so easy and Tim was so responsive and flexible on checkout time. The location is great, walkable to the centre, restaurants, the beach and Walpole tidal pool (which we loved!). A fab flat, we’d deffo book again and recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at Liz's place. It's very stylish, immaculately clean and the location is to die for! It's a stylish apartment set in a quiet one way street (parking easy) with a green and then comes the seafront and JMW Turner's famous Margate sunsets. I swam in the Walpole tidal pool every morning - it's just outside the apartment. Once we'd done a shop, we left the car and could reach all the sights on foot. Liz was always friendly and communicative. Highly recommended.

What a perfect place to stay in Margate - right in the centre and right by the sea with incredible sunset views. There was nothing to fault the apartment - it is clean, spacious (we are a family of 5 and managed just fine), with lots of nice touches like water by the bed and a great book collection. There was no noise at night and we felt right at home. Would highly recommend.

Meg’s place is very well located close to the beach and town area. We really enjoyed the sauna and playing mini golf right outside. We would stay again if we came to Margate.

Susan’s place was gorgeous! The balcony off the bedroom is a definite highlight! High ceilings and great views. Lovely location! We absolutely adored our stay - I suggest you bring beach towels as the ocean swims are great but we didn’t want to use the 2 available bath towels in the sand, especially without laundry access and 4 nights stay. You won’t have a bad time in margate - easy walk along the ocean to old town and plenty to do! Loved our stay!

This is my 2nd visit to Richard’s property and I still love it as much as I did the first time. Right in the centre of Canterbury, it’s a perfect location for shops, museums, transport etc. The apartment has everything in it you need and is very comfortable. All contact with Richard is fast and friendly. His written instructions are very clear on accessing the apartment too. Fab place, fab City, fab host.

We had a short 4 night break at Walpole Heights to get away from London and switch off from work. The apartment was immaculately presented and a great spot to access the beach and local area. Free on-street parking right outside the apartment for the two cars was also useful. The apartment is spacious and tasefully decorated. We (including the dog) thoroughly enjoyed our stay. At night it is very quiet. On arrival we went across the road to the Walpole Bay Hotel and sat on the terrace for afternoon tea. A perfect location!

Great property and host.

Nice and relaxing place. Very well equipped especially the kitchen area. Welcoming big basket, even milk and butter in the fridge and ice cream. A little bit more cleaning needed and carpets especially. But a great ans beautiful place to stay, very friendly and communicative hosts.

Great property. Pics don’t do it justice. We really felt at home. Super close to the beach and park for the dogs. So many amenities, even a spare toothbrush - which i had forgotten at home. Thank you for having us.

Great space for larger families with adult kids especially with one bedroom on lower floor and also having three separate bathrooms. View amazing. Relaxing airy feel. Big bedrooms. Will be back again.

Such a lovely apartment in a great location. Janey was a brilliant host, very friendly, flexible and responsible. All in all totally faultless.

We have never been to Herne Bay . As it such fine weather ,and rather than me paying silly prices for a hotel in London, we found this gem . It very near the beach and the facilities Herne Bay had to offer were fantastic , both busy and quiet and great notices of local facts eg Amy Johnson. Also easy walk from railway station. Followed up the hosts recommendation of local facilities and saw fabulous sunset from the pub . The host answered very quickly the one query we had . Would recommend for even singles, as it felt a safe area , as well as couples with or without children, or in our case a doggy . All facilities for him also .

A beautiful well kept apartment in a delightful town, which is full of independent restaurants, coffee shops and retail outlets. The location is perfect, right by the sea with lovely views. Chris is an excellent host, attentive but not intrusive, and he had prepared a superb information book with well researched recommendations. This listing is highly recommended by me.

Exactly what we were looking needed. Great base for exploring Margate for a long weekend!

Abigail’s place exceeded our expectations, it was an absolutely beautiful and spacious apartment for 4 adults. The apartment was very clean and well looked after. The beach was just under a 5 minute walk, which was perfect. We would definitely stay there again if we visit Margate. I had a wonderful stay at this property. The location is excellent — just a few minutes’ walk from the beach, restaurants, and bars, which made everything very convenient. The apartment was spacious, quiet, and very well-equipped, especially the kitchen, which had everything I needed. The host was exceptional: very responsive and kind enough to allow me to check in early, which I truly appreciated. I highly recommend this place and would gladly return in the future.

Seastay’s property at Ramsgate is quite unique. The wall facing the sea is all glass floor to ceiling. As you walk into the kitchen in the morning you encounter the sun reflecting off the sea; it’s breathtaking and deserves a five star review for this alone. The property is part of a block of about 15 apartments which are quiet, there was never any competition for the lift and rare to see anyone in the corridors. Ramsgate beach is delightful, without the crowds of Broadstairs or Margate. It’s my new favourite beach in Thanet and better still, only ten steps away from seaview’s front door. It’s not the cheapest place to stay in Ramsgate, but it’s worth every penny. A super responsive host should also get a mention- providing advice and responding generally within 20-30 minutes, even late at night, which wasn’t necessary but was appreciated

Amazing last minute stay! Amenities and extras were brilliant, had everything we needed and more. As for the flat itself, it was very spacious, homely and so much natural light. The views were the selling point and they didn’t disappoint! Nikki was a great host, responded fast and would do anything to make the stay special. Can’t wait to return!

We had a wonderful stay in Margate. The flat was the perfect location for us, close to the sea/beach/shops. The flat was beautiful and looked exactly like the photos. The linen was spotlessly clean and the kitchen amenities were fantastic. Hosts were very responsive before and during the stay if we had any questions. Thank you for a lovely stay!
