Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Margate Beach

We stayed at Stewart's place for two nights with our 4 year old and 11 month old daughters. It's in a great location with all the main attractions easily walkable. The house was well equipped and the decor is lovely. We particularly enjoyed sitting in the front patio for meals. The buckets and spades were a nice touch as it saved us having to buy them. There's no parking on site but it's not a busy street and very easy to pull the car up to unload. We found free on-street parking nearby so wasn't really an issue. Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic house for a family or group stay. Everything was as described and the location is great. You can walk everywhere. The views from the house are also lovely. There were lots of little personal touches as well, such a package of essentials like eggs, milk, bread and even a bottle of bubbles to enjoy. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely come back.

Lovely spacious cottage matching description and photos. Town centre so easily walkable to the beach, high street and Deal’s many restaurants and bars. Janey’s cottage has everything you’d need if you want to cook, and the back garden is a lovely private sheltered space to spend time outdoors. Communication from Janey was friendly and helpful and it was easy to check in via the lockbox.

Marianna's place was a real pleasure to stay in. It is in a brilliant location in the Old Town of Margate within walking distance of the beaches, lots of nice restaurants/cafes, and Margate's lovely little bookshop. It was spotlessly clean, and in fact better than in the photographs, in that the thoughtful design was much more attractive in real life than in the photos. The kitchen had all that you would need; the garden was nice, the sunroom warm and sunny and the beds extremely comfortable. The host was really friendly and responsive, including dealing with a query that I had about the shower. My daughters and I had a lovely few days and would recommend without hesitation.

Jacqui's place is a hidden gem, the photos don't do it justice. Plenty of space for our group, and a very well equipped place for us to relax and cook. Beautiful views of the sea, super easy check-in and a very lovely host - highly recommend!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful apartment! The location was genuinely incredible - perfectly situated with easy access to all the main sights, local cafes, restaurants, making our trip extremely convenient and enjoyable. The apartment itself was beautifully designed with thoughtful details and stylish decor throughout. It was clear a lot of care had been taken to create a welcoming and comfortable space, making us feel at home immediately. Every room was immaculately clean and well-equipped, providing everything we needed for our stay. We genuinely couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting the area. We'd love to stay here again in the future!

Lovely property tucked away like a little oasis in a very busy and noisy seaside town. Found two very up market and lovely restaurants around the back streets. Walks to the left of the main beach were lovely. Not crowded with quiet family and worth the walk to see the lovely older properties in the area.

Really enjoyed our stay … it was the perfect bolthole for my 5yr old daughter and I. Thanks to Damian, Stacey & co-hosts responses throughout my stay, even the 10.30pm one 🙈

I cannot imagine a better place to stay! It is perfectly located, close to the museum and pretty bay, cafes and train station. I preferred to eat in for my stay. The Aldi is nearby and all of the cooking supplies present. I spent many an hour seated near the bay window enjoying the sunrise, sunset and view of the sea. I will book here again should I return to Margate. Plenty of room for more than myself next time.

Had a lovely weekend. Walkable to Margate old town, Turner and Dreamland. Great views of the sea. Flat was well presented and clean. would definitely stay again.

We've had such a lovely time at the flat, the panoramic sea views are stunning and the beds are very comfortable. Ella very kindly let us check in early and sent very clear instructions of how to check in as well as a great list of things to do nearby. It's up two flights of stairs but didn't feel too steep and the view was more than worth it. It was great being so close to Walpole pool plus the beautiful seafront walk into Margate. We hope to return!

We really enjoyed staying in Julia’s lovely and stylish flat. It easily slept us four adults and our three toddlers and the amenities were very clean and nice. Julia was very proactive and helpful before and after check-in and full of good recommendations.

Great space for larger families with adult kids especially with one bedroom on lower floor and also having three separate bathrooms. View amazing. Relaxing airy feel. Big bedrooms. Will be back again.

We had a wonderful stay! The flat is tastefully decorated with unique objects in every corner, comfy beds, great living space... we felt right at home!!! The flat is a nice short walk in to Margate old town for great food and drink options, and well placed for longer walks along the Kent coast and beaches in either direction. We hope to be back !!!!

We were greeted by Phil and Jenny who made us very welcome and they went through a few things with us. The accommodation was first class with a view outstanding. Everything was of good quality and the bed was comfortable. The walk in shower was great and hot. What more could anyone possibly require We will go again. Many thanks Phil and Jenny

Great location by the sea (enjoyed the reclining couch and the view of the beach!) and short walk to tidal pool, seaside sauna, and many nice cafes etc. Enjoyed the decor a lot and how well stocked the kitchen was. In some ways, quite a well loved and lived in place - but for many that could add to the charm! For our trip, that added to the holiday weekend feel and had a fabulous time!
