Lake house vacation rentals in Manitou Beach-Devils Lake

Mark, was attentive in every way! His house was beautiful, well appointed, and decorated in a cozy fall theme. The gardens and yard art were lovely. The lake was so peaceful to sit by. We all enjoyed ourselves very much. It was a great place to relax.

The place was even better in person the kitchen is awesome. The basement is awesome You can even fish on the dock, I will reserve another time or two or three again. It was one small incident that happened, but she took care of it ASAP so no complaints here recommend staying on any properties that she owns. She take very good care of us. It truly felt as if I was at home. Once again, the place is awesome.

Scott was an excellent communicator, the cottage was extremely well equipped. Plenty of space, tons of entertainment options, spacious, clean, and comfortable. I only wish we could’ve stayed longer to enjoy the lake and activities. I would definitely recommend Scott’s place.

Our stay at the lake house was absolutely perfect. The scenery was breathtaking and we had every amenity available to us that we could have wanted. James and Jackie truly thought of everything. The house was warm, welcoming, clean and spacious. We are ver satisfied with our stay.

We loved being on the lake. It was very peaceful. We saw frogs, a beaver, swans, many kinds of birds. The game room was nice and we enjoyed carpet ball. The mother-in-law suite was nice. We took a nurse for our granddaughter so the nurse had her own space and our family had our privacy too. The peddle boat and kayaks were a plus. We tried some area restaurants that were good. All in all a great place!

Joanne was hands down the best host I've ever had on Airbnb! I've stayed at several lovely places before, but Joanne truly went above and beyond. Her home is beautifully curated and thoughtfully stocked with everything you could possibly need. Her communication was warm, responsive, and incredibly accommodating throughout my stay. The location is just as amazing—gorgeous river views, a peaceful patio, and a spotless hot tub, all right in the heart of downtown Dexter. Staying at Joanne’s place was such a treat, and it’s definitely a trip I’d take again. Thank you, Joanne, for making it so special! :)

This cabin on Clark Lake is amazing! We rented this place to celebrate a 40th birthday with family and friends and it was everything we wanted! Steps to the water, and the owner just put in a new dock which is awesome which has a spot at the end for chairs and fishing off the dock. We opted to rent the pontoon along with the cabin and this was the absolute best decision we could have made! Having the pontoon right at the cabin was a game changer! The boat is in great condition and Jenny and her family are very friendly and helpful and accommodating! Highly highly recommend renting the pontoon along with the cabin. As for the cabin itself, it was perfect for what we needed. We had several people in and out all weekend and we had plenty of room for them to stay the night. The three seasons back deck is where we spent most of our time eating and playing games with our guests! Kevin the host was very welcoming and flexible with check in and out. We are looking forward to returning!!

What a great location and comfortable home! We love being just steps from the water, and the house has amazing views of Round Lake. The rooms are surprisingly spacious and have plenty of room for a family to spread out and relax. Equally enjoyable outdoor spaces. The best part of this Crystal Blue Oasis are actually the small but thoughtful details. There are plenty of indoor and outdoor games to keep everyone busy and fun. The option to rent kayaks and stand up paddle boards could not be more convenient (and we highly recommend--the lake is gorgeous and easy for even beginners.) Even things like the hot chocolate buffet and honey sticks that come stocked in the coffee bar are so thoughtful and make this one of the best AirBnb rentals we've done. We've made two visits to Crystal Blue Oasis and plan to come back for a third and more!

This home is great! We would definitely love to stay here again! The host has many extras to make sure you have anything you might need to prepare a meal (any kitd of spice you can imagine, many pots and pans many small appliances, etc.). This home has everything your personal home would have which makes it very nice. The game room downstairs was a favorite of the kids! I would highly recommend this home!

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for our family and dogs to enjoy a long weekend together. The beds were comfortable, the house was very clean and well supplied with everything that we needed. There were a lot of activities to enjoy (kayaks, canoe, peddle boat, etc), hot tub, walking trails, fire pit. The host was very responsive and friendly. We will definitely plan to be back for future visits.

Shawna has a very nice Airbnb. Just as described and very roomy for our family of 3. The dog loved the sunporch and so did I. This place must be so nice in the warmer months with the beautiful view and area to swim. Would highly recommend !!!!

This was a wonderful place to have a book girly weekend full of snacks, champagne and great company. There were three of us and had more space than we needed, kitchen was a tad small but the space with well utilized and we went without nothing. Comfortable beds, kayaks for lake use, cute beach for lake sitting, the sunset was beautiful to watch from the back porch eating dinner, lovely fire pit, hot tub was amazing as a night cap each night. The neighbor brought some rhubarb and left them on the porch, such a fairy tale, country living experience. 10/10 would love to come back someday.

We had a great stay at Whitmore Lake! The house was very cozy, and the bed extremely comfortable. It was amazing to have a campfire by the river and enjoy the fall weather.

My children and I stayed for a week while some work was being done to our home, it had everything that we needed to feel at home. It was a beautiful place to stay and the view was amazing!

The views from their Airbnb were so beautiful. The deck was fabulous to overlook during breakfast or dinner. We sat by the firepit in the evening watching the sun set. The Airbnb was close enough to town or parks to stay busy. Lovely surroundings, we will be back again. Host was fantastic!

A great Airbnb and a great location! Definitely one of the cleanest airbnbs I have ever stayed in. The house is great and the beds are very comfortable. We really enjoyed sitting out on the patio!

The home was peaceful, clean, large enough for four adults to share, and conveniently located on a beautiful, private pond/ lake. The host was quick to communicate. Will definitely stay again and recommend to other family/ friends coming to visit our family in Whitmore Lake.

We enjoyed our stay at this nice house near Rush Lake when visiting from out of state for a lake swim. Very quiet neighborhood. Very comfortable beds. Kitchen is well-organized. House was very clean. Good location, short drive to Busch's grocery store, which is a real bonus. Rented kayaks and enjoyed seeing the cool birds (heron/swans) on the lake.

Great house on the lake with easy access beach for small children. Lots of room for several guests. Kitchen is great to accommodate big family gatherings. We would definitely stay again.

Reedsong cottage was the perfect get away spot for a relaxing weekend. It was clean and well put together. I can tell a lot of thought was put in to make it feel like home. The lake view was very pretty with the morning sunrise. Golf course was right near the property. Restaurants were just a 5-10 minute drive. Pizza delivery and some DoorDash were a nice option when I just wanted to stay in. It has a full kitchen if you want to cook. I had a question about how to lock the door and Stephanie responded right away with great instructions. Hillsdale has a little bit of everything for a small town. Finish line family diner was great for breakfast. You can tell they scratch cook. Birdies downtown was a very cute little shop. The farmers market seemed busy, but not as busy as the “sale barns.” Hillsdale college has a small but nice campus to drive through. Overall, I had a great time and I found the price to be very reasonable and the stay relaxing. I would stay there again!

Great place, as advertised! Elaine, the host, was very communicative and helpful. The whole place was stylishly decorated, clean, and comfortable. Loved the spacious bedrooms (and comfortable beds), open floor plan in the kitchen-dining-living room area, and having the 2 full bathrooms and extra entertainment area in the garage. We spent a lot of time in the garage, which has really comfortable outdoor cushioned seating, an extra refrigerator, and games. Had a great stay! Easy check-in and check-out.

This place is was way better than the photos look. I feel like the photos made it look dark and dingy, but the house was actually quite appealing. It was super clean and super cozy. The master suite had stunning views the cutest color scheme. The lake was beautiful as always. Large driveway and big lot. The backyard had the best views and access to the water. The property manager / Owner was so accommodating because I left my medication accidentally. They even made a book that told you every detail on the house the area and anything above. A++++++ what a great stay! The free standing fan was a huge plus in the master!!
