Absolutely incredible stay! I honestly can’t say enough good things about this little cabin and about Peter as a host. The cabin was cozy, clean, and perfectly set up for a peaceful getaway. The sauna was a total highlight, immaculately clean and the perfect way to unwind after a day outside. Canoeing and kayaking on the nearby water was pure magic. Everything about this place just made me feel connected to nature, without giving up the comforts and thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. If you love the outdoors but still want those key amenities, this spot is 100% worth a few nights. Can’t recommend it enough!

We had an amazing stay at Peter’s Airbnb in Kenora! If you’re someone who loves nature, this place is a dream. Surrounded by beautiful scenery and right by the lake, it’s perfect for a night or two of peaceful relaxation. You can enjoy paddle boating, canoeing, or just take in the stunning natural views — there’s so much to do. But what really made the experience unforgettable was Peter himself. On our way back to Winnipeg, I realized I had lost my gold chain. I contacted Peter, hoping it might have been left behind. To my surprise and relief, he not only found it but also called me right away to let me know. That kind of honesty and kindness is rare, and I’m truly grateful. Highly recommend staying here — for both the incredible nature and the amazing host!

Couldn’t recommend staying at the Fiddlehead more! My husband and I loved staying here as part of our honeymoon. It was so comfortable, intimate, and peaceful. And its proximity to Riding Mountain is a total plus! 10/10 experience, and we hope to return!

Really nice place to have a camping experience

Peter and Kristine are amazing hosts! they’re very accommodating, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The place is insanely peaceful. We loved meeting their furry friends as well! 10/10 would recommend. Will definitely be coming back.

If you are longing for the sound of loons, the sounds of the forest, and the serenity of the lake, Sunset Bay is for you! The kitchen space is small ,but serviceable, however, the BBQ on the deck with a view of the lake was amazing. With a license you can fish off the dock, enjoy your catch, and go for and evening swim. Follow your day up with smores around the campfire pit near the water. This truly is a hidden gem.

Linda's place is exactly as described and was incredibly beautiful! not too far from town but far enough for privacy. gorgeous to walk around as well. only issue I could think of was check in was a little late and check out was a little early but everything else was perfect! Definitely would stay again! thank you for hosting :)

Bob and Marilyn were the most wonderful hosts! We were so touched by their hospitality and genuine friendliness whenever we met or communicated via text message. The cabin was just as described, so very clean and cozy - we felt right at home. We were so impressed how well equipped the cabin was - especially the kitchen. Everything we needed was there. We just have to say that our expectations were exceeded! We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back.

We were truly impressed by this charming and affordable cabin! It offers both privacy and lovely views of the lake. One of the standout features is the ability to bring along your furry friend, which is a huge bonus for pet lovers. The outdoor hot tubs, available for use around the clock, were an added bonus. The cabin is cozy, it is perfectly equipped for two adults and a medium-sized dog, ensuring a comfortable stay. The deck is ideal for barbecuing and soaking up the sunshine. Overall, we were very happy - it checked all the boxes for a memorable getaway!

Dora's place is wonderful. It's a little piece of heaven on her farm. I felt so welcomed. It's rustic and far from glamping. You have to have a certain mobility to climb the ladder and get to the loft, but it's well worth it. The place had everything we needed and was spotless. The veranda is so practical. We ended our evening by the fire pit. I will definitely go back next year.

We had an absolutely amazing anniversary weekend here! Everything was so lovely and relaxing. The property, the decor, everything! My husband and I relaxed by the fire, listend to the birds on the porch, had a soak in the tub, listened to music cooking, watched a movie and played cards. Deleene put some much effort into every inch of the place, easy instructions on how to use things, clearly labelled things etc, detailed manual. My husband and I could stop saying how much we loved the place, so cozy and comfortable. We will 100% be back !!! BOOK THIS PLACE NOW!!!

Second stay. Such a lovely place to stay. Highly recommend. Even amidst hot weather, the cabin ( tucked in the trees) stayed cool. The screened in porch was very nice to sit in. Cozy beds /bedding. Enjoyed the walking trails, sauna, cold plunge, and reading in the swing chair in the screened in patio.

My kids and I had a great stay at Eve's place. We were evacuated by the northern wildfires so made a mini-vacation out of it. Eve's place was great, she was always kind and responsive and everything in the cabin was exactly as described. I hope to vacation here again under different circumstances!

The tiny cabin is truly beautiful and the location by the beach was awesome. The host was very helpful and able to provide us propane firepit since there was a fireban in the area when we stayed. Only concern was the walkway path from the cabin to the hot tub was not lit on the first night and we had to figure out how to switch the lights on since it turns out unplugged from the main source. And quite a bit of walk going to the tub from the cabin. But overall it was a super nice place! Would definitely recommend.

From even before I booked , Jason and Taylor were extremely responsive. I had questions about the location and they quickly answered all my concerns. They gave me info on the property prior to booking which sealed the deal. After I booked their communication did not end there. Check in was a breeze , personalizing the codes for easy access, and when we walked in the place was spotless ! The linens in the master bedroom were crazy comfy! The kitchen was spotless , and the yard is super cute. Well lit. Well maintained. This place is a VERY short walk to St Boniface Hospital which is super convenient. Parking at the rear and lots of parking up front if you have a guest of your own. I would highly recommend Taylor and Jason as your hosts and this super cute home away from home.

We truly needed this get away and we are so glad we picked Meaghan's place for our daughter's birthday. Hearing the birds in the morning while lounging around and the leaves rustling outside was absolutely a blessing. The kitchen and mini fridge was really useful as we stayed for a few days. Everything was convenient and the place was close to St. Malo beach so we were able to have a quick visit when we wanted to. The puppies were also a nice treat, the kids enjoyed playing with them when they visited. Thank you for having us ☺️

Was an amazing trip

We had an absolutely amazing stay. The outdoor shower was a major highlight. We spent many hours out in the canoe and the rowboat, and we didn’t see a single soul the entire time. Robert was lovely and responsive. The cabin was well stocked and clean, and the views were amazing. We brought fishing gear and caught many bass. We saw many turtles, a beaver and lots of different birds. The hike in was moderately difficult and much of it was up hill. We brought our own wagon and used the pull cart Robert supplied. Wear good shoes! It was so worth it though. We’d highly recommend this beautiful piece of paradise!

Absolutely loved our stay at this cabin! Julie was fantastic—super friendly, responsive, and made everything easy for us. The cabin itself is incredibly cozy, with all the comforts you need to relax and unwind. The deck is beautiful. Being just a few steps from the lake made it even more special, the perfect spot to take in the breathtaking sunsets—definitely a highlight of our trip. It was an amazing experience overall, and we’re already planning to come back again this summer!

The place is gorgeous and perfect for a getaway and it has everything you would need to stay there. This was our second time visiting and we will for sure visit again.

Beyond the veil of trees upon the edge of lake Winnipeg is moored the Viking Ship within which you are destined to experience something more unique than one's usual encounters on airbnb. Mark's cabin is set upon the sandy shores of the lake which create a perfectly astounding mix of the sounds of water crashing onto land and visuals of the grand lake right through your window. The indoor decor and wood burning stove add a sense of comfort in peaceful isolation, and the outdoor kitchen kept you in tune with the elements. A little vinyl record player in a box provides yet more ambience with selections of music that amplify the connections to Scandanavia prominent in the nearby region. This will be one if the most unique experiences you will have - just be prepared to be one with the nature around you. A beautiful place I'd truly reccommend.
