Wow! if I could turn my car around and go right back to Miriah's place, I would do it in a heartbeat! We took our 3 kids for a quick Fall Break trip to Elk Rapids and we all fell in love with Miriah's place and this amazing little town. The house is a perfect layout for families, with lots of common spaces to hang out together AND enough sitting nooks for people to find quiet places to read and relax too. The kitchen has got to be the most well stocked Airbnb kitchen I've ever been to. Next time, I'll plan to cook more because now I know Miriah's house literally has EVERYTHING you might need to cook and serve a big group. The house was spotlessly clean, the furniture was super comfy and we slept super well. We loved walking to the beach, playing at the playground, watching people catch fish by the dam, walking to the shops in town, and enjoying the incredible views. This place exceeded our expectations in every way. Thanks for a great stay!

My family and I had a fantastic stay at Elizabeth’s place and was exactly as described- beautiful lake view/sunsets, well-equipped, comfortable beds, and great layout for multi-family (a plus I could bring my pup along)! It was a perfect centralized location to the activities we had planned for Memorial Day weekend (1 hr to Mackinaw City, 1 hr to Traverse City, 10 minutes to Boyne City, 30 minutes to Charlevoix and Petoskey). Elizabeth was very responsive and ensured check-in/check-out went smoothly. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Place was exactly as described. Perfect location for our needs and the ability to bring our dogs was a huge plus. House was spacious and well kept. Would stay here again

Our stay was lovely! The home is beautiful. We loved the space and the decorations. The location was gorgeous and private. We came up here to renew our wedding vows in a very private ceremony (just us and our kids). The hosts left us a card and a gift which was very thoughtful. Would definitely return.

Loved this great find near Traverse City! The property was beautiful with a cute little beach. There were beach chairs on the sand and above on an astroturf seating area. There were also a couple docks to walk out farther onto the water. Our dogs enjoyed the slight waves and exploring the wooded area on leash. The cabin was clean and comfortable. It was about 20 minutes to Traverse City, so it was easy to get to lots to do as well as the beautiful beaches in the area. We loved sitting at the public beach with our dogs. Such a relaxing place to stay and a great town to enjoy with family and pets.

We loved Dave's place! The house was very comfortable and access to the lake was excellent. My family loved being able to fish and play in the lake when we weren't out sight seeing in Traverse City. We had the resort all to ourselves the week we were there, so it was our own private oasis!

Corey’s place was perfect for our needs. We loved being able to pull into the garage and let our dogs out directly into the fenced yard. The home was beautiful, very clean and had a wonderful layout. Everything we needed was available in the kitchen and bathrooms, there were even games. We enjoyed the beach access and the sunrise and sunset views. I really hope get another chance to stay here.

The property at Boyne is a classic and has maintained a warm place in our memories which we have returned to decades ago after decades. There is history and seasoning in everything which has traveled and joined in our time and hopes every time we attend.

Beach Bliss was a perfect get away with gorgeous views! The unit was very clean and inviting. Dandan was very attentive with any questions we may have had. I would highly recommend her place.

We loved our stay at Ryan’s place! Perfect stay for Shanty Creek and even Boyne. Very clean and comfortable with plenty of room, and gorgeous views!

As always, Shanty Creek did not disappoint! The view was spectacular, with full fall colors popping! We got to walk the Legend golf course several times, and the colors were amazing on that, too. This unit is cozy and absolutely perfect for a couple getting away for a few days. We would definitely return to this unit any time of year!

My husband said to put it on the top of re-rent list, highly suggest! The house is rustic in the perfect up north vibes kinda way while keeping all the nice amententies of home. There was plenty of space inside and out.The little lake and view from the deck are beautiful! The privacy and large yard give plenty to do even on somewhat rainy cloudy days, we had fires, kayaked, hiked. We went to the community pool on a nice hot day, the pool was nicely heated, clean and had a great view. It was also connected to a bar and grill that brings cocktails and food to you. We grilled and ate like kings and it was so nice to have the stocked kitchen and grill, the ice maker was a perfect touch and the variety of ways to make coffee and or tea were so thoughtful. We are already talking about when we could go again! Thank you for the wonderful mini vacation❤️

The place was perfect for our get together! It was beautiful! The only thing I will say is that there are a lot of bugs and we did have to check ourselves for ticks. But that was the only downfall! Would LOVE to stay again.

Holly communicated very well and answered questions very quickly. The home is beautiful and clean. Outside wild turkey and around 10 deer ran through to the valley below. It’s close to the shops and the lodge. We walked to dinner and drinks. I would definitely book again and would recommend this place and Holly!!! Thank you for a great place to stay over the weekend!!!

Lots of amenities that are in walking distance! Loved to be on the water with a dock near by and a pool for the kids! It was wonderful!!

Carrie was an amazing host from booking the reservation to making sure check out was a breeze. She was so accommodating and friendly, I felt like I was talking with a friend. The home itself is beyond describable. Every room was immaculate and the backyard views will be something we never forget. Our 2 dogs enjoyed the big, private beach and water! I’m so happy we decided to spend our last vacation as a family of 3 here! We are already planning our next visit with Carrie when the baby arrives. I can’t say enough good things about this place!!!! We highly recommend this home!

This was an outstanding cottage for a winter getaway for our family! It was a great location close to multiple ski resorts and downtown Gaylord. We enjoyed getting to ski, tube, horseback ride, and play in the snow outside of the cottage. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and everything was clean and cozy! It was perfect for what we were looking for. Dawn was an excellent communicator and didn’t hesitate to give us recommendations in the area and check in to make sure all is well. When we got snow overnight, there was even someone to shuffle and plow immediately in the morning. We would absolutely come back!

Wonderful spot right on the lake. Nice sandy beach with minnows that’ll kiss your toes. Plenty to do on the property and extremely well stocked with everyday amenities; i.e. kitchen utensils, full fridge, tons of towels, washer, dryer, and even a pack n play, high chair, kiddie plates and silverware. We had a blast and will for sure book again!

Lovey home. Beautiful location. Very clean. Amply stocked. Great communication. For those who have problems with many stairs…. This is NOT a good fit. There are twenty steps each time you enter or leave the home. Outside there are more stairs to move to the lower level.

My wife and I had a very relaxing time at this cozy spot. Wish it was a little warmer to enjoy the water but still a great view! Thank you Marguerite for your timely responses and all your help.

We rented the house for 3 nights and were very pleased with our stay! The place was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable getaway. We especially appreciated the large amount of kitchenware — it truly felt like home. The surrounding area is beautiful, peaceful, and quiet. It’s a perfect spot for a family vacation, and I would gladly come back again. Thank you for the warm hospitality!

This cabin was a fairytale. The oxygen here is so fresh we don’t even know how to breathe without all the dirt and smog like in Las Vegas. You MUST shower in the outdoor shower. That is a bucket list item you didn’t know you needed. The entire property is so well stocked. There is a movie room with a giant projector for movie night with the kids. The finished garage is a perfect hang out. There are fishing poles, a heater, bluetooth speakers, extra fridge and washer and dryer. We opened the garage door and got all that oxygen while playing games and hanging out inside. The owner was so kind when we couldn’t figure out how to put the magnetic curtains back up on the garage door. Outdoor dining table with 6 or 8 chairs, fire pit with brand new chairs that even have a wine glass holders. More chairs at the sandy beach. Nice dock with lights at night. The kids loved the dock and raft that is floating out there. They practically lived on the raft all weekend. We will definitely be back!!

We had a great time at the chalet on our trip to cross-country ski in the area. Great location and quiet. Appreciated the treats (hot cocoa and s’mores). Kids loved the upstairs. Super comfy beds and nice open layout. Snowed quite a bit before and during our stay- excellent ski conditions and we enjoyed exploring the many xc ski areas within 7-25 min drive (XC Ski Headquarters, Forbush Corner, Hanson Hills, Hartwick Pines). Best lunch was at The Stone Turtle Cafe at XC Ski Headquarters.
