Luis and Lula were incredibly warm and gave me great recommendations for small and big adventures around Puerto Rico every day. The highlight was a tour with Lula to a huge and beautiful cave! But the rivers and waterfalls were also perfect for exploring and enjoying. I highly recommend the accommodation!

Alexander’s house was not only comfortable, spacious, and extremely clean, way above average, but also a gem located at the top of a mountain where the guests can enjoy astonishing views of Puerto Rico’s Cordillera Central geography and Mother Nature. Alexander’s house is recommended 100 % for small and large groups looking for a peaceful, spacious, extremely clean place to stay while visiting the lovely town of Jayuya. Great local restaurants. Amazing rivers and hiking places to explore. Rich in history and culture.

The stay was amazing. They have what you need to spend some quiet time in the mountains and breathe fresh air. The bunkhouse was comfortable, the place was clean and had very good ventilation. Bathrooms were also available nearby, and everything was spotless. The atmosphere is relaxed and feels a lot of peace. It is a good place to get away for a while from the noise of the city and enjoy nature. The cool climate helps a lot to rest. I recommend it for those looking for a relaxing and natural experience to get out of the routine with all the essentials to have a good time in tranquility.

This is a quaint house in the beautiful country side of Puerto Rico and the host was very accommodating. The check in was difficult bc we had to meet somewhere before arriving and coordinating that was very inconvenient. The roads are a little difficult to maneuver so make sure you are, or have, a good driver going there. Getting into the property there's a rough spot, so cars w low clearing, go slow! When we stayed there was no wifi and although we didn't need it, some people might find this an issue. The bathroom is downstairs and there is no hot water, so plan accordingly before bed time etc. All these things I mention are just to set your expectations for those who need modern comforts. I personally found the place super cozy, rustic and exactly what I needed. There are some hammocks in the wrap around porch and downstairs and having the morning coffee there was amazing! By the way, this is a working coffee farm but we didn't go in harvest season, so we didn't see any of the operations. I imagine that would be a nice addition when in season. Overall we had a good experience, and would stay here again at some point. The check in and out system has to improve, otherwise all great.
