Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Malpais

Great location. We loved the pool and rancho area. Raúl was very flexible with check-out. He helped us with an emergency we had. Great host.

The house is even more beautiful than what you see in the photos, it is spacious and beautiful like a fairytale! If you go by car it is better to go on the side of the gas station but if you enter well. Rolando was a kind and cooperative person to the fullest! If there were more stars I would earn all of them! He supported us with a topic that we had to fix and made it as the most championship! Wow thanks for that beautiful character.

This place will impress as soon as you open the front door! Unreal view and maybe the best morning coffee and evening happy hour perch that I’ve ever experienced. Many thoughtful details here. Comfy beds, quality linens, thoughtful design, local bath products, and beautifully landscaped to ensure privacy. For added security assurance the property is located behind a gate with a someone there to monitor exit and entry. It was tough to leave the house at times. Enjoyed it all.

We absolutely loved staying here. The house and garden were beautiful, we had everything we needed, and it was private and quiet. It's also very close to the beach and all the restaurants and cafes. The hosts we're very friendly and responsive. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

We had a great stay at Dreams on Wheels! Location was super close to the beach and walkable to all Santa Teresa hotspots. We felt right at home and Davide is a great host: he shared loads of tips and was very responsive when we had to leave early because of a personal emergency. We would definitely recommend staying here!

just absolutely incredible. The place is private, but close enough to walk to the beach. This home is WELL stocked with every kitchen appliance you could hope for. The beds are comfortable, the home was clean, and the private pool was refreshing. I will ABSOLUTELY stay here again!! We had a small issue with the gate, but Laura and the maintenance team were on it in less than an hour.

All 5 of us enjoyed this unique and spacious treehouse. Being able to cross the hanging bridge and use the pool next door was a real treat and adds a lot to the experience. The house needs maintenance and details in cleaning, but Juan Carlos responded to our requests for a water jug because the water filter was clogged as well as replacing the broken blender. It’s definitely not a place for children or the elderly as the spiral staircase to get into the house was the start to our adventure. I’d definitely recommend (to the right group) and return. Comfortable beds, decent A/C, good price and loads of fun.

What a beautiful place with the most amazing view and sound of nature. At night you will experience pieces of its exotic nature at night as bugs and animals sing and in the morning you’ll feel rejuvenated and take in the beauty of it all. Just know you are in the trees I was extremely terrified of bugs and staying in Costa Rica changed my perspective and loosened my fears. Definitely rent a car with 4 wheel drive or an atv (the atv made the experience more fun). I would stay here again in a heart beat.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at this paradise. We saw macaws frequently each day. Also saw deer, monkeys, goats, lots of other birds on the golf course property. The back yard was spectacular. A private oasis. The community was lovely and very safe. Beach restaurant and pickleball were great. Online groups for the community were wonderful. Met some great people. Property manager and owner were super responsive and helpful.

Such an amazing location, and even better hospitality. So many great recommendations from the host. Thanks so much for a great time in Costa Rica!

Had an amazing stay at Casa Pura Vida. The location is perfect, very close to several beautiful beaches and surrounded by lush nature. I really enjoyed the outdoor pool, especially in the evenings, surrounded by the tranquility of the place and the wildlife. The beds were very comfortable and the house had all the necessary amenities for a relaxing and worry-free stay. Adrian, the host, was always attentive to my needs and made sure my experience was impeccable. A perfect place to disconnect and enjoy paradise! I 100% recommend this stay, I will definitely be back soon💜

Overall great place to stay!

I can’t say enough great things about our stay here! Adi was incredible- he was there to help us check in and give us a tour and was extremely responsive to any questions we had throughout the stay. He set up transfers to and from the airport for us and ATV rentals that were there when we arrived at the house. The house was perfect for my 30th birthday celebration with friends! Close to the beach and a quick ATV ride to Santa Teresa to enjoy all the restaurants and bars. Loved that it was a little removed from the busy-ness of Santa Teresa- very peaceful and serene. The pool was beautiful and the entire property was just incredible. I can’t wait to come back and stay again! Highly highly recommend booking here!

The setting was amazing! It was really cool to be so close to Montezuma and the area but have a peaceful jungle retreat to go to. The pool was wonderful for cooling off and watching the animals. We saw a great variety of birds, reptiles, and had howler monkeys come through. It was an incredible few days. Jodi reached out after first booking and was a very responsive host, she connected us with Leanne and Ron right away, and they could not have been nicer or more helpful with all our local questions, giving suggestions, recommendations and advice. This was a phenomenal portion of our trip!!

We greatly enjoyed Villa Forest! It's one of the nicer houses in the area, and looks better in person than on the photos! Dana and her husband and whole crew were very nice, helpful and always responsive. We had a great vacation, and the house was perfect, spacious, awesome pool and very quiet. It's a little ride from the main road (prob a 5-10 min ATV ride) of Santa Teresa, but the ATVs that Dana helped us get for the week were perfect (and fun). Our kids loved it!
